NEW IN April :)

Hello! Another month gone by and I've been pretty good in April, I got some amazing stuff, treated myself with some more but for once I didn't go overboard! I did however try to test out a lot of product as much as I could and I hope May will be more productive regarding future posts and there should be quite a lot of them! Now lets see what I've been treating myself with this month!

Empty products of the week 6 :)

Hello! Time to clean up a bit and do some empties :) I have finished some more products and now I will write a sort of short review for you which of these I find good, which are really good and worth repurchasing :)

Starting with some shower gels :) I have finished two  and the first one is by Kozmetika Afrodita and it's from their latest update, the new Coconut Milk line and also includes a body lotion, which I will also finish soon. I must say I really loved this creamy shower gel and I would repurchase it right now, but I really have to finish the ones I have first. The price is also pretty good, a bit less than 2 euros I think for a bottle and I really have to look away in the stores not to buy it already :P I have also reviewed this one here, the post is unfortunatly only in Slovenian. Next is another shower gel, by Fa and it's their vitamin&power Vitamin B nd Honey Melon. I really liked this cent in summer time and than I didn't use this one for quite some time and once I started it again it was already winter and well, I didn't like it as much. It feels very light on the skin and does the job well, but doesn't leave the scent on the skin for very long, at least on me I can not really smell it after half an hour.. I think I will not repurchase this one, at least not right now, maybe next summer.

Than moving on to deodorants. I have finished two, one is by Nivea and it's from their Pure&Natural collection and is a roll-on, it has the jasmin scent. Honestly, when in store, I thought this would be great and really smelled good on me, but when applied I really didn't like the scent and probably won't repurchase. At least not this one, otherwise I like their roll-ons as they are small, portable and pretty good at doing their job - preventing any unpleasant scents to break out. The only thing that might not be practical is the glass bottle, as I am really clumsy and always fear I will break the bottle in the bathroom. Next to it is one by Rexona, it's the Clear Diamond one and it's a spray. I liked this one, but I would much rather this was a roll-on and not in spray can. Plus is also that this didn't leave any white marks on my clothes as I mostly wear darker shades. Repurchase is a maybe, well, maybe if I find it in roll-on shape.

Moving on to some face products, I have finished  one toner and one face  wash foam. the toner is by Kozmetika Afrodita and it's from their Clean Phase collection and has some lemon extract and hyaluron acid plus astringent effect. I really liked this one and will probably repurchase in about a month or so, as I am already half way through my latest toner, which was also a repurchase, the one by KRASNA, I have already reviewed here. I will probably repurchase this one as it is much cheaper than the Krasna one and also it's pretty good and worked well for my skin, and I think it actually helped with my problematic skin. The price is about 5 euros and you get 200 ml of the product which is pretty good, considering the Krasna one I am using at the moment costs 12 euros and also offers 200 ml. The next product I have finished is this face wash foam by Nivea and I really liked this. I was using it in the morning and it did really well, refreshed my face and cleaned up well.  I had this for quite some time before I started using it and before this one I had the Balea one and that one was also good, but less gentle. This one really causes me no problems or irritations and still does the job well. In the evening I used first micellar water and than went over with this foam cleanser and really washed my face well and I think this is realy worth repurchasing. I will repurchase but probably not just yet as I have two more cleansers at home to finish first.

And some more face products :) I have finished this Alverde Waschcreme Heilerde, which was already my repurchase as I have known this collection since I was in high school and really liked it. It's reasonably priced, they try to be as natural as possible and does the job just the same as  any other cleanser. But if you use foundation with very good coverage and staying power this might not work well for you as you will need to cleanse again to really get everything off. All in all, it's pretty good and gentle, doesn't irritate my skin and leaves it feeling fresh and soft so I might repurchase this in the coming months, once I finish my stash. Next to it is Visibly Clear face peeling by Neutrogena. I bought this after I saw and tested it at my friends house and I really liked it at first try, It's soo light, and creamy at the same time, it's gentle but effective, not too gentle, you can still feel the little parts working in your skin. I didn't use this every day or anything like that, mostly I used this once a week or maybe once per two weeks and it did work for me. It didn't cause me any more skin problems and I would repurchase but I have decided to test a Garnier with wasabi extract first. And I really did love the fresh and cooling sensation this gives, plus the pleasant scent. The price is about 5-6 euros, if memory serves me right, but it could be some more. The only problem I had with this was that I had to cut open to use up the product as it wouldn't come out anymore at the end. The last item here is not for face but for hair and it's by Scwarzkopf Gliss Hair repair 6 miracles oil essence. It's just an oil for hair and I used it mostly for hair ends, but it didn't really do much change, it just kept them in good shape and gave them enough care so that they didn't split as much as before and also helped a bit with the health of my hair in general, kept them strong and neat. I will not repurchase this as it didn't do anything special, it was an ok product but not that impressive and that good I would want to repurchase. I will test some other products first before coming back to this one. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad product, it's a good one but just not that amazing.

Some L'Occitane empties, I have finished a hand cream Dry skin hand cream with shea butter, their bestseller I think, and I must say this is also my favoruite product from this brand, from their body and skin care range. This  was already a repurchase and I will treat myself with another cream when I save some money for it, plus once I finish with my hand creams stash. I have also finished the Pevoine Flora EdP, which I have recieved as a  Christmas gift from my bf's mother, about two or three years ago and I finally finished it. I really loved this scent and would repurchase now if I could, but it's simply too expensive and I have quite a stash of EdT's and EdP's... soo.. I really shouldn't. I also really like the bottle, the colour and the shape... I might reuse it and buy some perfume copy, like from Refan shop..

And finally some finished makeup products. I have finally decided to throw away Deborah 24 Ore mascara, as it was really old and I didn't even use it anymore it just was there in the bathroom and waited. Than I finally decide to give her one last try and it was sooo baad... I mean it, the formula went really bad and I couldn't even apply this well without getting it all over my face and I have finally given up that this will ever again work for me. After all mascaras are supposed to be good for about 6 months and I have kept this mascara for a lot longer... The review is here, but as for the repurchase.. I don't think so. It's good, but I already have better ones and well, I will not repurchase.
Than next is a face powder by Essence, All about matt! fixing compact powder. It was an overall ok product but sometimes I tended to look too white with this, I don't know why, maye because of the foundation or maybe I applied too much? This didn't really do much for me, as for the matte effect it was more or less average, so as expected for the price - less money, less music... It's not bad and some really like this, but my skin is too greasy and in combination with my foundations this simply doens't work as well as I hoped it would. I have finished it almost completely but than the rest of the product broke and well, I had to throw it away. Anyway, if you are on a budget this would be worth trying, but if you really need a good powder that will keep your face matte for a longer time than I would recommend investing in something else. The last product of my empties is another powder, by Catrice, All Matt plus shine control powder. An ok powder, again pretty average at keeping my face matte, easy to work with and natural finish, but well, I will not repurchase. It's quite similar to the Essence one but a bit more expensive and really, I still prefer the Bourjois one and will rather buy that one, even thou it's more expensive, simply because it's so much more fine and looks so much more natural and also helps me stay matte longer than these two did. I didn't even finish the product really, I kinda broke it when it fell on the ground and some time later the product completely broke inside and I decided to throw the remains away.

Did you try any of these? Do you recommend me something similar?

Hope this was helpful to you and thanks for reading!

NEW in February 2014 :)

Hello! It's already the end of Fabruary and damn, time really flies... Today's post will show you my new products of the month, my recent purchases :) This time the list is quite shorter, especially comparing to January when I also had my birthday and got lots of goodies as gifts :)

So here's the list:
- Neutrogena Visibly Clear Peeling for face with lemon & mandarine extract
- Aok Pur Balance Waschgel with ginseng extract for acne prone skin type
- Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream in shade 32 Beige Clair
- Essence I love stage eyehsadow base
- Alverde duo eyeshadow in shade 30 Felsenklippe
- Essence Longlasting eye pencil in shade 18 Berry Merry
- Bourjois 10 days nail polish in shade 18
- Essence XXXL Shine lipgloss in shade Nude Candy
- Deborah Euphoric Shine lipgloss in shade 06 and 13
- Chanel Lipstick in shade 81 Fiction
- Labello lip balm in Peach
- Accessories: Two hair clips and a pair of gorgeous blue earrings, all bought in DM store

Let's start with face and skin care. This month I wanted to try some new face products and I bought new Neutrogena face peeling. It smells amazing and does the job well, it's gentle but still works. I really like it so far. The next one for face is by Aok and this has been on the market for quite some time now. I don't have any waschgel at the moment so I thought why not try this one. It's designed for skin after age 20 which is still prone to acnes and blemishes. So far I've used it a couple of times and I really liked it. The last for face is CC cream by Bourjois.. which I really didn't need to buy since I've been mostly using my Revlon Nearly Naked foundation and Mixa BB cream.. but I have succumbed to the advertising and once seen on Lisa Eldridge... I just had to try it! And I am really satsfied with it, it's a great product! It's even better than my Revlon NN, I think I have found my new favourite for my base :)

Also, got some accessories - one hair clip and another that's more like really just an accessorie, but I really liked these two the most from the bunch. The earring are also bought in the same store, also in DM, and the best part is that all three of these products have been 50% off :) So I feel no regret there XD

For eyes I wanted to try this new shade of Essence Longlasting eye pencils, which is simply a gorgeous mix of deep purple with a hint of brown :) Really great daily colour or to match it with an evening look :) Another eye product - I got myself Alverde duo eyeshadow, for no reason other than I liked the shades... plus they were on discount. Last was this eyeshadow base, also by Essence, which I actually needed to buy, since my ArtDeco little black pot is running out, I have heard many recommendations for this oen, so I decided to tyr this one first.. also MUA has been suggested a lot of times, but since I only need this product by MUA I will wait with my order for now...

For nails I got only one nail polish this month, I'm really proud of that, since lately I haven't been using many nail products at all... I got this very beautiful denim blue shade by Bourjois, also as you can see, on 50% discount at DM store.

And my favourite part - LIPS! I got quite a bunch of new lip products XD First I bought this gorgeous lipstick by Chanel in shade 81 Fiction :) Don't worry, I got it brand new but second hand, so it wasn't as expensive as buying it in the store. I really love the shade, I think it suits me pretty well. It's also well pigmented and lasts longer on my lips than my first Chanel lipstick Pygmalion ( from last summer's LE). Essence had sales this month, due to the change of range so I got myself a new lipgloss for 0,99e XD I wanted a nice shiny, but nude lipgloss to top it over my nude lipsticks and I think this will do just fine. Also Deborah had, again, their Euphoric Shine on sale, also 50% off and I couldn't resist getting two more shade... one is pale pink, suitable for pastel spring and one is a more nude, browny colour and suits me really well ;) Than I saw Labello had a new lip balm out and I have resisted it for about three weeks... but than I just wanted to see if it really does smell like peaches and  omonomonomnom... it smells great! I love it, and it leavse a nice sheer shine on your lips. Also a nice product to top over orange lipstick ;)

Chanel lipstick 81 Fiction
Last beauty item of the month was another Revlon Lip Butter in shade Tutti Frutti :) Yep, I am a freak for lip butters, as you can see here and here XD

To finish my post on a more geeky side - I have finally purchased the rest of the Wheel of Time books, so I finally have all 13 of them XD Happy reading to me :D

Thanks for reading!

- a big haul of Essence products, too many to write it all down :P

And now more photos :)

I got the OPI nail polish second hand, and it was practically new, almost never used. I love it, such a perfect shade and very good coverage with just one coat! I bought Essie in DM store, I had a 50% discount :P Haven't tried it yet, I hope it will be ok. The nail stickers I got when I traded some of my stuff I didn't use anymore.

Revlon Crush is the first one I have from the Just Bitten Kissable balm stains, I haven't tried any other shade yet. This one was also second hand, since I think they are a bit too expensive here, almost 11euros.. and frankly, I don't like the other shades much, this one was the best from the range.. The perfume was also second hand, but it was barely open, so I had no objections and bought it. I love this collection, I love the scent of roses, so I thought this was a good deal :) Neutrogena lip balm I got at DM store, also on discount 50%, because I donated 50 of my DM points to their cherity cause. :) Haven't opened it yet, but a friend recommended this is a really good balm that actually does what it promises :)

I bought these three on Click2Chic web store, I had 30% discount :P I always wanted to try the Skinlights, so I was tempted and decided to buy this one :) I have been using it every day since I got it, along with my Revlon Nearly Naked foundation and I have been quite satisfied with this one :) Gives a really nice base :) Also I decided to try some lipglosses by Revlon, because in the previous two months I bought a lot of their Lip Butters. I chose the darkest two shades, Fatal Apple and Berry Allure. I watched swatches from Temptalia and I fell in love. These two are quite sheer and gentle, not at all like they seem in the bottle. Since I expected it I was not dissapointed. I love to use both, I find them very suitable for work :)

I know this one shouldn't be on this lits, I don't need it at all... but look at the cute packaging!!! I simply fell in love with this one and had to try it :) I decided to buy the Dakar shade, not the London one ( that one had more purply shades in it). Deborah is one of my favourite brands for eyeshadows, also for lip glosses, so I expected this to be a good product. I only swatched it so far, never tried it yet, but it looks very promising. I bought it at DM store, another 50% off discount, otherwise these costs almost 20e, which is way too much for me... You get 3 eyeshadows in it, two lippies, two cream shadows, 1 multipurpose powder, 1 blusher, 1 bronzer and 1 applicator, also a small mirror :)

Next is by Essence, it's shimmer powder from their latest Ice Ice Baby limited edition, which you can still get in DM stores in Slovenia, Muller already had it. I got the powder as a winner of a giveaway on Facebook, from Revija Eva :) I only tested it so far, but honestly this does not impress me at all.. I loved the snowflake design, but that was all.. I had an obssession with snowflakes for like a month, so I was ready to buy something from this collection, but seeing it in store.. it really didn't impress me enough, so I didn't get myself anything else.

This is my first The Body Shop product, I never had anything from them before. I actually got this through a friend, second hand, but it was completely new and originaly packaged :P I have already opened it and smelled it and tried it :) It is great, sweet chocolate! A real bargain for all chocoholics :P So far I've been loving this, but I mainly use it at home, since it's in a pot and I can wash my hands at home more regularly :)

Another chocolate lip balm, this one is by Oriflame. I love this one too, it actually helps my lips, but the scent here is too strong and I like the one from TBS more. But this one has a prettier packaging :P Also got this from second hand, but it was again completely new and originaly packaged.. so in my opinion, these two were a really good deal!

Another  Christmas gift to me from the company where I work :) I got something else too, but I gave that away and used it as a gift, since I really don't need so many L'Occitane products :P I still have an untouched shower gel from last Christmas, so I really should be using that first... So I got the new La Collection de Grasse, Fleur d'Or & Acacia body milk which smells amazing! I love the scent so much I am actually thinking of getting myself the small perfume from the collection, the 7,5ml one... this is really an amazing smell, go check it out if you haven't already :P Also I got this one minute hand scrub which I never had before, but I was told this is amazing and makes your hands really soft and smooth! Can't wait to try it :P

Onto my big Essence haul.. I got this on a special web site, with coupons, discounts and such.. so I decided to buy it. I will use a lof ot these in my future giveaway, which will be announced for my birthday, but it will be only Facebook giveaway :) Stay tuned, keep reading my blog and my Fb page in January :P

Another Christmas gift to me from a friend,  the amazingly smelling AVON body mist and Essence foundation. Will see how the second one works for me, but I love the body mist, a really nice smell. On me it's strong enough to be used just so, as a perfume. :)

I got these two products by NYX from MojaDrogerija to test them and review them. :) I haven't gotten around yet to write the post, but I have already used this and I like the shade of the pigment very much, but the lip liner doesn't suit me well... more proper review coming soon :)

Another L'Occitane product that I got as a gift for Saint Nicolas :) I haven't tried it yet, but again I was told by others who already had it that this is a great product, good as a hand wash or body wash, whatever you prefer to use it for :) The hand cream I bought myself, DM store but of course :) It isn't expensive, something like 2,25 euros... It doesn't have a specific or strong scent, but it really nourishes the hands. However, I find it too greasy to use it at work, so I have it at home on my desk and use it there :)

The last product I got the past year was this lip lacquer by ArtDeco, in shade 30. The shade is a perfect red, with full coverage, well pigmented and with a glossy finish. I love the shade, it suits me a lot but it is quite strong, a statement lippie. :) Another product that I got second hand, but it was totally worth it! I never had before any of the ArtDeco lip products and I really like this one. :) Now I know for the future, I will definitely try some more of these :)

I didn't include all of my gifts from December because they were too many... I got a book, voucher for whatever I want to buy in Qlandia, scented candles, some warm socks and some more comfy socks.. a lot of sweets, a board game to play together with my bf& friends, make up related stuff I posted here,  and some more stuff :) It was all in all a great month, that slipped by me very fast since I was at work a lot... so I am kinda happy December 2013 is over and I can finally move on with my own plans :) Thank you all for the lovely gifts and surprises :) I hope you also had a nice month, nice holidays and lots of lovely gifts :)

Thanks for reading!
