Preview: Essence - Disney's Oz The Great

Spring is sure to be magical as essence whisks you away to a world full of adventure this february. Just in time for the movie release of Disney's “oz the great and powerful” in Germany on the 7th of march 2013, essence is turning all beauties into true magicians of make-up. Inspired by the bright and colorful world of the enchanting disney movie, this trend edition consists of gold, red, green and soft pink as well as blue shades.

Eyeshadow: The bright colours of the eyeshadows in green, red and light blue with a subtle metallic effect guarantee expressive eye make-up styles. The special embossment with a hot-air balloon design on the surface of the eyeshadow is an absolute eye-catcher. Available in  01 goodness, 02 kindness and 03 generosity.

Eyepencil: The eye pencil in bright purple and intensive green with a subtle shimmer effect creates expressive highlights around your eyes. Available in 01 fragile but feisty and 02 china girl.

Colorchanging lipbalm: Effective transitions: the two exciting lipbalm colors in red and pink change as soon as they come in contact with your lips and turn into an intense pink upon application. The shade varies depending on your type and natural lip-color. Available in 01 glinda the good and 02 master of magic.

Cream Blush:  With its creamy consistency, this blush is super easy to apply and conjures-up a wonderfully fresh look that’s no illusion! The practical pump dispenser offers just the right dosage so you can apply it on your cheeks with your fingers.
Highlighter powder: Powerful powder! This delicate highlighter powder provides the ultimate finish for perfect wizard of oz make-up. Its fine texture with a light shimmer and lettering on the surface sets gorgeous accents on your face, neck and décolleté – and it isn’t just for Theodora, Evanora and Glinda. Available in 01 the great and powderful.

Cracking Top Coat: No hocus-pocus. These results will even amaze magicians! Simply apply one of the five hot shades – pink, red, mint and metallic gold or blue – as a top coat on previously polished nails and look forward to an awesome cracking finish! That’s how you create cool little works of art! Available in 01 master of illusion, 02 winds of change, 03 good witch, 04 winged wonder and 05 delicate but determined.

Necklace: Sparkle, sparkle – this necklace with a black satin band and emerald-green stone perfectly rounds of your oz style with a hint of mysticism. :)

What do you think about this one? Anything you like? The necklace looks promising and the lip balms, the rest is pretty much ok, but I won't buy any of it. I just don't need such colours anymore, I already have too many. Cream blush looks interesting, but will have to decide that when I see it in stores. Otherwise a very Oz-like collection, all together looks great!  But this is not the only collection that got inspired by the upcoming new movie Oz The Great. Here's also OPI, a collection of some really great nail polishes you will like. Check them out here :)

OPI is launching 6 new limited edition nail lacquers and a new Liquid Sand shade inspired by Disney's OZ the Great & Powerful! With an all-star cast including James Franco and Michelle Williams, this highly-anticipated film open in theatres on March 8, 2013.

The SoftShades Collection captures the whimsy seen in the film and will have glittery shades packed with white, gold and silvery iridescent  confetti to soft neutrals in white, beige and pink. With a mix of soft creme and warm glitter shades, the collection is ideal for layering to create rich, complex looks. Look out for this collection early March everywhere that OPI is sold.

“The new Liquid Sand nail lacquer – What Wizardry is This? – features OPI’s groundbreaking technology for a textured, matte finish infused with reflective sparkle,” adds Weiss-Fischmann.  “This rich taupe hue was designed for James Franco’s character, the great Wizard of Oz, and is sure to make a bold statement this spring.”

Do you like this collection? I think it's a great idea to see them do it again, make a limited collection after a movie, just like with Bond. I love the colours here even more, I find them more wearable for everyday and also for occasions. I will definitely try the new texture of Liquid sand, the colour also looks amazing!

Have a great Sunday!

Linking weekly loves 11 and 12

How is everyone? Another two weeks have gone by, and here's my list of best posts, most interesting post that I loved and liked in past two weeks. :)

Sara Hassan has quite a collection of Sleek eyeshadow pallettes and she also helped me decide to buy my last one ( review and swatches coming soon!). This time she presents Sparkle 2 palette, which is, as the name says it, really shiny. I'm used to Sleek matte shadows, but this looks tempting too!

Jacky B. presents new limited edition by Essence, that will come out very soon, beginning of February. It's called New in Town and will also become part of regular range, later on in March, when Essence will change their usual products line up :)

Lipstick Rules has a love for lipsticks as big as mine or even bigger. Here she presents Maybelline New York Color Sensational Vivids, I especially love Shocking Coral and Wild Rose :)

Nihrida made another post for nail polish lovers, showed us review and made swatches of MUA Magnetic nails, Leicester Square looks fantastic!

Essie Button made another video post, this time about her hair stages and current hair care products, you can see her video here :) This is the first time I hear about Orgnx and Ojon and they look promising, worth checking out :)

Pretty.not.included presents suitcase essentials for your holidays this spring/summer season. Jewelry is definitely on my list, plus I'll just make some for myself, after all, I'm a jewelry maker ;) And some sunglasses are a must :)

Šminkerica posted a list of everything you need in your cosmetic bag, a post shortly presenting all the products that you should have, if you actually need and use them :) Check it out here, the post is only in Croatian.

Parokeets presents eyeshadow palette by Inglot, named Freedom, the post is in Slovenian, plus a video. :) I am really tempted to buy and try out some of their eyeshadows, but since I already have so many I don't even need it. Still there's no such thing as too many eyeshadows :D

Šminkerica made this really great photo guide how to make a daily look for beginners, and I really love the final result! This post is also in Croatian, but the photos speak for themselves! She looks gorgeous!

Voodoo Blonde made a really nice post, also in Croatian, about cosmetics multipractical products. Oils, body spreys, transparent powder, hair regenerator and such. She gave me ideas how to use the products in other ways than usual :) Maybe you'll find some nice tip too!

Baroque Fool made a great manicure, Lord of the Rings themed, and I love it! Check the great eye of Sauron here :)

Chalkboard Nails showed us a really great, spring like manicure, full of colours, named Abstracted Lava lamp! Lovely colour combination, so not winetr like and so  much more light! :)
