Coconut obsession!

Hello! Are you in love with everything that has coconut included, or simply smells like coconuts? Than this post is just right for you! I have chosen a couple of coconut scented products I have been using a lot lately and that smell amazingly or simply really work as promised :)

I have picked up six products that really have a lovely coconut scent. I have a lot more coconut scented products at home but these are my top picks at the moment! Starting with hair care, I have only one product that smells like coconut and it's one of my all time favourites - Uniq One all in one hair treatment. It is not the most reasonably priced product but it's a really good one as it helps my hair and hydrates them more, nourishes them really well and adds a gentle touch of coconut scent. Once applied and dried on your hair you probably won't be able to smell much, but it's still a really good coconut scent, not too sweet or vanilla like. It's a real hair treat and I have been saving this product a lot, as it's one of the most expensive for hair care I ever had.

For body I really like this body butter for normal to dry skin by Cien and I find it suitable for my skin too. I mostly use it on my legs and it really helps me as I have drier skin on my legs. It does need a bit time to sink in, but it leaves my skin really soft and lovely scented. Again I love the scent is gentle, not too sweet and just light enough. I don't know how this would work for me for a longer period of time as I have just began using it (last month) but so far it did well on my skin.:) For hands I have had a really lovely hand cream by The Body Shop  with Coconut and I loved it! I was saving it for a long time as we don't have TBS in Slovenia and I almost never go shopping in neighbour countries. The scent of this hand cream was soo good and so special everyone around me was able to smell it after I applied it, so many times during boring classes where I didn't need to write anything down, I would apply this and girls around me would sooner or later ask "whats that scent, it smells really good"! :) Anyway, if you are a coconut scented products lover you should give this hand cream a go!

And three products for lips! It is only right I chose three different products for lips as I am a huge fan of anything to do with lips. I love... coconut&cream has a lovely coconuty scent but is a lot more sweeter than any other product mentioned in this post, as it's actually a mix of coconut and cream. It give s lovely shine to the lips and can actually act as a slightly coloured lip gloss. It's also good you can just squize it out, meaning application is easy and fast. The second lip product is by Labello and it's one of their Lip Butters. The hype for lip butters has been decreased but I believe most people still love this lovely little tin pots. I have posted a full review on the Vanilla&Macadamia one and I have also the Blueberry one and I actually like the Coconut the most! At least at the moment ;) This one is really good, gentle, light and most importantly scented with coconut! It is not as good at nourishing as let's say Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm, but it's still very decent for the price and it's one of my favourites! The last product is by SunDance Lippen Balsam SPF 30 and it's scented with coconut and vanilla and it's not tha coconuty as other products, but a bit more milky, sweet. It's really good at nourishing and also very  good at protecting it against sun as it has SPF 30. It's not sticky at all, it sinky into lips well and also doesn't give any weird white colouring to your lips (as do Labello lip balm with spf protection and also Alverde). It's a tube and you just press the product out. Really love it!

So here are my six picks for this coconut obsession post! What are yours? Any recommendations what I should try?

Thanks for reading!

Empties of the week 8 :)

Hello! Time to talk about my latest empties :) I think I am doing pretty good finishing up my makeup products and skin care and cleansers and shower gels... very proud of myself that I managed to still stick with my original plan to finish up the products that are already open :)

I have used up a bottle of Johnson's baby softwash that I was actually using just for washing my makeup brushes. It did the job well but I am wondering  if it really got also all the bacteria. That's why I have a new Ebelin cleanser and I hope that one will be working also against potential germs so I can really assure my skin the best care possible. Or otherwise what's the point of having anti blemish skin care if I keep using only half washed brushes... Next to it is another empty bottle of Inell Lait Demaquillant Douceur, I already have repurchased another one and I keep using it as it's really cheap and works well with my makeup ( I do not use waterproof stuff). Another cleanser finished, this time I used up Nivea Aqua Sensation invigorating cleansing gel for normal to mixed skin. This was pretty good, it worked well for me, also together with my Braun face brush. It did however sting a bit at times, when my skin was really sensitive or I had a reaction to something..

Empty hair products, I have finished a dry shampoo by Balea, Trend it up spray-on trocken shampoo. I have already repurchased this one many times and currently I have another one by Balea, but both are good. Also my boyfriend likes to use it so sometimes a bottle can be finished up pretty fast. I have also finished another L'Oreal Paris Elvital Fibrology shampoo, I think this one is still my favourite one from the ones I have tried. I also really like the Fibrology hair balm, the scent of both products and how my hair are really soft later.. I will definitely repurchase again after I finish my stash. Third product is by Schwarzkopf, it's Gliss Hair repair conditioner. I have been using their leave-in spray conditioners for a couple of years now and I really like them. Usually I use this product on days when I don't use any hair mask or hair balm, so I don't get my hair too greasy and heavy before even drying them. It workd really well for me, I might repurchase this one really soon.

I have finished up a couple of shower gels. I usually have more than one open at a time, so don't think I used four shower gels in less than two months:P Plus I tend to use up shower gels as a liquid soap, especially if I get bored of the scent or I have it in my stash for so long I can't even remember why this product ever smelled nice to me. I have done so with Balea Black secret shower gel. It does smell nice, but I don't like the scent all over my skin so I used it up as a handwash liquid soap. The other three were actually all gifts. I got the I love ... Minty choco chip as a gift and I have been using it up pretty slowly as it really had a strong specific scent and I wanted the product to last  for as long as possible. The same goes for The Body Shop Moringa Shower gel. Until I had enough of these two crowding the space on my bath and I decided to finally finish them up. After that I was using another shower gel I got for my birthday L'Angelica Officinalis Purificante with a fresh scent of tea tree plant. Really loved the scent and the refreshing feeling. I think I might try the lemon scented one also, if I get a discount or something.

It's been a long time since I finished up a body lotion, but I finally did. I really wanted to create some space so I decided this one is the first one to be used up and it's by Dove Purely pampering with pistachio cream and magnolia. Smells really amazing and works well with my dry skin, especially on my legs. I would repurchase, but I have too many similar products to use up. Also, I have finally finishe up another hand cream and it's by Alverde Naturkosmetik Intensiv handcreme with pomegranate and shea butter. This was a really greasy hand cream and I've been using it only at home or before going to bed as it really took a long time to sink in. I liked it but not that much to want t repurchase it ever again.  And who would have thought, I have actually finished up a lip product, Labello lip butter vanilla and macadamia. I had this for quite some time and I really liked it but I usually just used it at home as it's a lip product ina pot and you really need to keep your hands clean when applying. I would repurchase, as I really liked the scent but I have an enormous stash yet to finish and I keep purchasing new lippies.

As for facial skincare I have so many opened products yet that are close to being finished but not there yet, hat I have only managed to use up two products. I used up Balea 7 tage energie kur. There were seven ampoules inside, I used one each evening, for a week. It was supposed to help my skin get back some hydration, energy and freshness.. well I must say I did not notice any differences so I will say this did not work for me and I do not plan on repurchasing. I have also used up Paula's Choice Clear anti-redness exfoliating solution with 2 % salicylic acid regular strength. This did nothing for me. I used it only in the evenings and after three days, three uses there was no more  visible change. The first two days I could really see my acne shrinking and drying out but than there was no more change. So I kept using the product more or less on and off, when I had a major breakout to help me dry it out faster but that's it. Some say they used this every day and it worked miracles on their skins, well mine was not one of them and I will most definitely never repurchase again.

Finished up two deodorants, Nivea Dry comfort and Rexona Clear aqua. Both were pretty good, the Rexona one had a better scent if you ask me. In terms of keeping me dry none of these two ever really do much for that, if my body needs to sweat it will and it doesn't matter what I use, but it did help me keep smelling freshly and clean and this is actually most important for me.

I ahve also used up a face mask I got as a gift Schaebens Schoko maske and it really smelled so amazingly sweet, I really liked it. Than I finished up some testers of Nivea Diamond volume conditioner and shampoo. They were ok, but I have nothing much to say about it, decent products, but did not wow me or anything, so i don't think I'll be switching my L'Oreal shampoos for Niveas one. I have also finished up a tester of Nivea Soft  refreshingly soft moisturizing cream and I really liked it, I think I will be repurchasing a whole bottle/pot as soon as I will be able to.

Some eye makeup I finished up. I actually really loved this Wet'n 'Wild eyeshadow palette in Silent treatment, but I dropped it and it broke and there is more or less just some mixed dust left inside. Too bad, this was really one of my favourites. I would definitely immediately repurchase if I could. Than checking out my mascara stash I figured out there are two mascaras that really must go to the trash bin asap! The L'Oreal Paris False Lash Wings in black  and Terra Naturi Fine definition mascara in blue. Both were still usable but so very old and I didn't even use them anymore that I have no regret throwing them away. I really really liked the L'Oreal one, this was actually one of the best mascaras I have ever tried. So a repurchase is highly likely, but not just yet :) The Terra Naturi one was never used much and well very old, so very ripe for thrash bin. Also throwing away Catrice  Calligraph Ultra slim eyeliner pen waterproof. This product never worked for me. I used it maybe three times and it already went grey instead of black, it transfered all over my lids and well.. I didn't use it anymore, it just was there in my stash and it's time for it to throw it away. Last one is by Essence, their Long lasting eye pencil in 10 almost famous I used for my waterline. It was also very old and it started to crubmle right after application so it was past time to get rid of it and I already bought another one, this time by Catrice , Kohl kajal in shade You're my Rosen one!

Last three empties are also makeup related. I have used up a liquid foundation, and I must say I am pretty impressed with myself as it's really been a long time I have finished up a product of this type. I have used up Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation in shade N51 Light Vanilla. This was one of my favorite foundation ever and I would repurchase, but I have an enourmous stash of not yet used up  foundations.. Than also by Bourjois I have finished up their Happy lights ultra - covering concealer in shade 21 Ivore. I will be definitely repurchasing this one soon, it's one of my all time favourites! For the time being I bought Catrice camouflage cream and it's good but not as good as the Happy light one. Plus it's  got a better packaging, gives better coverage and also has a tiny mirror inside. It is however a lot more expensive, about 8 euros, while Catrice one is  only 3,29 euros. Last item I am throwing away is a portable powder brush by Deborah. I have never been really using this one much, I had no idea the bristles would be so rough as there was no tester available for a brush at the store and I have regretted purchasing it from day one. I hoped that with regular washing I would get it to be more soft but it never was. Then the mechanism to roll it out broke and it only goes out just half way and it just stood there in my bathroom, so it was time to get rid of it too.

And this is it for now :) As I've been prolonging this post for so long I already have a couple of empties for my next post and I think it will be up sometime in April :) Have you been using any of these? How did they work for you?

Thanks for reading!

NEW in September :)

Hello! Time to write about my new products from September... Have you seen the first photo of this post? What do you think, what was your first reaction? Because mine was .... ooohh myyyy, when did I get all these things? Soo many goodies to play with :P

Yep, I admit, I went a little overborad this month, I mean  a lot.. I have spent quite a lot of money and I think all of it was very much worth it:P I love each and single new product. Plus I have invested in my new wardrobe and bought some items for my home and kitchen... so yes, it was a month of extreme shopping. I don't remember the last time I have spent so much money, but I had to treat myself a bit, after all I have finished my studies and graduated :) So I took treating and spoiling myself to a whole new level, didn't I? Plus I just started my masters programme. Plus I started a new job this past week, well actually an old one, I already worked there...so many new stuff going on! What can I say, a september full of changes and new adventures :)

So let's start with a very pleasant surprise I got from UK :) A friend went there to attend a conference and she remembered that I wanted to try some The Body Shop products, so I was really really excited when I saw these three gems :P I got Moringa shower gel, Shea and Coconut hand cream. I have already tested the shower gel and let me tell you, it smells divine! It also feels very gentle on the skin, but what gets at me the most is the amazing scent. The hand creams are still waiting to be tested, I need to use up some first.

Moving on to another set of products I have received :) I got a Blemish Mud face mask by Montagne Jeunnesse and a p2 Pure Color lipstick in shade 042 Madison squere from Mojadrogerija.si :) I have already tried the lipstick and it's amazing! The shade is a perfect plummy with a good staying power and nice stain, so I am gonna love to use this one this fall/winter season.

I have also got some stuff from a friend, because she didn't use them anymore. We did a little trade with the nail polishes and I gave her some of mine, that I rarely used. I got a Catrice nail polish in 15 Denim Moore and Coral Prosilk nail polish in shade 16. Also she gave me this amazing Wet'n'Wild eyeshadow palette I wanted to buy for a long time now, it's called Comfort Zone and the colour selection is simply amazing and perfect for any time of the year really...

Now.. some nail polishes.. I got three by Deborah Milano, from their  Gel Smalto effect colore extra brillante maxi pennello collection. There was another gel collection, called GelLike, but this is a new version. I had a 50% off dicount at DM store for these three, so I couldn't simply stop at just one nail polish, I decided to get as much as the coupon allowed :P I got shades 01, 03 and 06. Next two are from L'Oreal Paris  available at Muller shops, for 3,50 euros each, they were on discount. I got shades 892 Totally D'accord  Spiky Effect and 893 Metallic Cuff Metallic Effect. Each makes a different effect when it dries, so they are quite interesting, thou not exactly what I imagined. Last one here is by O.P.I., haven't bought any of their nail polishes in a while, so as soon as I saw this particular shade, I simply could not resist not to buy it. I had this shade, Amazon... Amazoff,  on my wishlist the whole summer long and now it was on discount, so I got it for about 7,80 euros. It does leave a strong green colour on your nails even after removing with loads of nail polish remover, so use with a base coat is a must!

Moving on to make up for face, I got a new foundation, again by Bourjois, can you imagine my monthly haul without a Bourjois product? I gor the last foundation I really wanted to try by this brand, it's the Healthy Mix foundation in shade 51 Light Vanilla. Another foundation I got this month was by L'Oreal Paris, Mat' magique mattifying foundation, I already have this one at home but I am gonna use it up soon. I got this in shade 02 Rose Ivory, traded it actually for a product of mine that I didn't use.  Also got a new  multi colour powder by Essence, from their Hello Autumn LE, in shade 01 Autumn& The city, which I am yet not sure if I use it correctly. Plus I got Catrice Calligraph Ultra Slim Eyeliner pen  waterproof, which turned out to be pretty much useless and a bad buy..

Next is a pack of Bourjois products, that were really affordable alltogether. I got  Volume 1 seconde mascara, which I already have, but it's a pretty good one, so why not have two. I got some fake eyelashes, called Easy faux cils mini fringes, which I hope will work for me. Also two lip products in this pack, a lipgloss Effet 3D action baume hydratation 8h in shade 33 Brun Poetic, plus a lipstick Sweet kiss in shade 41 Beige elegant, I really couldn't resist such a good deal, plus I really love the lipgloss and the mascara will come handy once the old one is too dry to use.

Finally I also have some KIKO Makeup Milano products! I have spent about two weeks online, checking shades, reviews, prices... and than I finally settled for these four products. My friend went to Italy and she told me she plans to raid KIKO, so I really couldn't miss such an opportunity and added her shopping cart these four gems :) I got two nail lacquers in shade 317 and 275, plus I got a Kiss balm in shade 06 Blackcurrant and Unlimited lipgloss in shade 20. So far I have tested the lip products and the dusty rose nail polish and I really like all of these :P

And some more lip products.. if you haven't noticed by now, I love lip products! First I bought Labello Lip Butter tin pots, I got Blueberry Blush at Muller for 2,99 euros and than I finally found the Coconut one in Interspar for 2,38 euros and I haven't seen it cheaper anywhere else. I love both of them, coconut is a classic but Blueberry blush has an amazing scent and I really recommend it to all blueberry lovers :) Also I got two new lipsticks from Avon LUXE collection Couture creme lipstick, they were on discount, each costing 6,90 euros, normally they are over 10 euros each. I got a neutral shiny everyday shade called Lustering Nude and a neutral plummy -pinky, a new shade in the selection, called Cheri. I love these two so much! The texture, the scent, the pigmentation, the application, the feeling on the lips.. all of it is pretty amazing! I really recommend these lipsticks, they are a really good deal when on discount, especially if you find a shade that really works for you.

Some skin care products! I have finally bought NUXE Rêve de Miel lip balm in a pot! I have read so many comments and so many people said it was the ultimat lip balm pot to have and that it really works.. So I got it on discount at feelunique.com, at their summer sales, also bought  the face cleansing and make-up removing gel and both products are amazing! I am saving the face gel for winter time, because it's really rich and nourishing, the lip balm I am using every day before sleep and it really does help my lips.  Next are two products to help my skin, one is by Paula's Choice Clear Anti-redness exfoliating solution with 2% Salicylic Acid for blemish prone skin and Derma E Evenly Radiant Overnight Peel to help me exfoliate my skin better and help me with my large pores. Have only tested PC salicylic acid so far, will see in about a month if it will help me at all or not.

And some more products for hair.. I repurchased this L'Oreal Paris shampoo Fibrology, because we ( me and my bf) both liked the effect and it makes my hair really soft, so I use it a lot. Next are two  products by Subrina, one is NutriShine elixir for hair ends and the second one is Heat Protector to spray it on after washing and before blow drying or styling your hair. On top of the photo I have Alverde little round pots of three different body butters. One is Hibiscus shea butter, Pomegranate  and cocoa butter and last one is Aloe Vera and mango butter. Haven't tried them yet, but they look really cute and I bet they are pretty good for dry skin.

And some more face products.. I got two by Kozmetika Afrodita, one is a micellar solution Cleansing &make-up removing& moisturizing and one is tonic  for normal to oil skin, Clean phase collection, with astringent effect, which I will start using soon, as my Essence tonic is almost empty. I really use up tonics fast, as I tend to use only one until the bottle is empty. I repurchased Inell makeup removing milk at E.Leclerc, but got a bigger bottle this time. Just an everyday makeup remover, that's really cheap and affordable, especially if you use it almost every day. Last is another repurchase, a tonic by Krasna, another slovenian brand. I really loved this combination of lavander and tea tree oil and I had some 50% off discounts at DM store for this brand so I bought just this one product, but it will have to wait it's turn before I will use it.

Last one is Slovenian Dash Box, a new way to test new products. I have tried this for the first time, it costs 10 euros for one month and you geta  box filled with different products each month. I got some testers from Pukka, Lee Stafford, Philip Martin's, Decleor,  a mini nail polsih by Alessandro, Deborah Mitchell and a full size hand &body moisturizing emulsion by Jessica.  I will see which of these I will test myself and I think I will give some of these away as a giveaway! This is my 299 post and the next one will be a giveaway to celebrate my 300th post and also two years of my blog, which happened some time ago but I didn't have time to prepare anything for you yet.

NEW in August :)

Hello! I am back after a long time of not posting at all with a new one, this time about my newbies from August :) I had a very busy time for a couple of weeks now and little time or will to post. And since August already passed and I still haven't shared my newbies with you this is the first post that needs to be done :) I did some shopping, most of it online, as I had little time to go to stores..

Let's see the list:
- L'Oreal Paris Elseve Arginine resist x3 Light Strengthening shampoo
- Bourjois Healthy Mix serum gel foundation in 51 Vanilla clair
- Bourjois Flower Perfection foundation in 52 Vanilla
- Bourjois Happy Light concealer in 21 Ivore
- Catrice All matt plus shine control powder in 010 Transparent
- Catrice Velvet matt eyeshadow in 040 Al Burgundy
- Catrice Kohl kajal in 190 Cleopetrol
- I love makeup Blushing hearts triple baked blusher in blushing heart
- I love makeup Wow! gloss in  Naked all day
- Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balm in 07
- L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse in 200 Princess and 102 Romy
- Deborah Milano laque in shade 2
- Maybelline Superstay 14hr lipstick in 260 Always plum
- Essence Pureskin anti-spot toner&powder
- Derma E tea tree and E antiseptic face cream
- The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost
- The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion
- MaxFactor facefinity all day primer
- Caudalie Beauty elixir 30 ml
- Ecotools Fresh&Flawless five piece complexion set

So starting with face... I bought two new Bourjois foundations, both have been bought second hand and barely tested, so I got full bottles, for the price of one (regular price in stores)... I got Flower perfection in shade 52 Vanilla, because I had a chance  and it didn't cost much plus I heard it has nice coverage, which is half true for me.. Next to it is another one by Bourjois, Healthy Mix serum foundation in 51, perfect shade for winter time when I am even more pale than usual.. so now I can really say I will test all the Bourjois foundations everyone has been talking about so much.. I know I am way behind others, since most of these products have been on the market for some time now, but to me it's a pleasure that needs to be explored. Also by Bourjois is this incredible concealer that I really loved, this is my second purchase and I got it on sale at DM store, I think it's still available for 5,99 euros.. Than also second hand I have new face primer by MaxFactor, and it's really good actually, I like it a lot, especially to use it in combination with the Bourjois 123 foundation. To finish off my face I bought Catrice All Matt plus shine control powder, since I was running out of my Bourjois one. This costs less than 4 euros and does the job pretty well..

On to eyes... I have bought new Catrice products for this season fall/winter 2014. I got a kohl kajal pencil in shade Cleopetrol and I really love it, creamy, glides on well, shade is amazing deep petrol bluish .... Next to is a mono matt eyeshadow, which is unfortunately not a good buy.. the pigmentation of this product simply sucks.. I am really not satisfied with this one, it should be deep purple, but it looks grey and black and the purple particles gather together in one spot and I can not make it blend with other shades..

To test I received from Ličila.si a package containing this cute heart shaped blusher and a nude lipgloss which is actually really good, not sticky, natural, not too pale, not too browny,.. Reviews of these two products will be up soon, probably with the products I got the previous time, also from Ličila.si :)

Lip time! My favourite topic to talk about... :D I have some newbies and I love them! I bought Deborah Milano laque in shade 2, a very daily liquid lipstick. Pretty good product, but the consistency of this one is very different to the other two shades I have by this brand and I don't like this one as much as I do the other two.. Than I have here Clarins lipgloss I traded for some of my stuff I didn't need and didn't use. This is very gentle and a bit shiny and shimmery, but also very daily and so far I have liked it. Next to it are two L'Oreal Shine Caresse liquid lipsticks, basically the same thing as the Deborah one, but much more liquidy and less intense in colours. I bought these two new, but second hand for less than is the regular price for one in the stores... quite a win :) I wanted to try these for some time, but than decided to buy the Deborah ones first :) Last one here is one I wanted for a long time now, Lisa Eldridge mentioned this one in one of her videos and I had to try it. It's by Maybelline, Superstay 14h lipstick in shade Always plum and it's perfetc for fall :) I really like this one :) I already have one shade from this collection and they are not very hydrating and smooth, but the shades last and are really good with pigmentation. Got it at feelunique.com, at summer sales :)

A lonely product for hair this month.. a shampoo by L'Oreal Elseve, called Arginine resist. I actually got this at the end of July, but forgot to include it, so by now this shampoo is already empty. I liked it, feels light and does the job well, but doesn't cause any problems with my scalp or hair, makes them feel very soft and smells nice. Maybe I will repurchase :)

Some treats for my face :) I needed a new toner and I didn't want to pay a lot of money so I decided to give it a try, it says it's a toner&powder and should be offering a more matte look after it dries on your face. Let's just say it's an ok toner, unfortunately with too much alcohol so probably I won't repeat the purchase. Next to it is a face cream by Derma E, my first product by this brand and I have been waiting for this cream to arrive since the beginning of June.. I thought I made a normal order, turned out it was a preorder and than I had to wait even longer than they said I would.. Got it at BB natura online store, I don't think I will repeat the purchase. With the wait and all it's basically the same as ordering from iHerb.. It's a tea tree oil and vitamin E cream, antiseptic and should help prevent more outbreaks and pimples. but honestly so far I have not noticed any progres.. Maybe I haven't picked the right product but I honestly don't see why all the praises for Derma E..  Next to it is my new favourite product for face, by Caudalie and it's theirs Beauty elixir, the small packaging 30 ml. I really wanted to try some Caudalie products so I ordered from feelunique.com when they had summer sales and I really like this. I use it every day before I apply my foundation, as a toner. Can be also used to refresh your look or as makeup fixator. Can not say yet it has any specific effect on my skin, but it does help keep my foundation in place, Last two prodicts are by The Body Shop, bought second hand. They were barely used so I decided to give it a try. I got Vitamin C collection Microdermabrasion which I love and makes my skin feel really soft and amazingly clean and also serum which actually makes my skin look more even and tightens the pores a bit.. So far I've been loving these two :)

Last one I forgot to include... also a purchase from feelunique.com is this set of brushes by Eco Tools :) I have been using daily these three: buffing concealer brush, complexion blending brush (for blusher actually) and full powder brush for powder. The other two I still need to try, but I really love this collection, small, compact, has everything you need to make your face look perfect, plus the design is simply too pretty not to have these :)

NEW in April :)

Hey! April is almost over! Finally almost over! There is nothing like a new product to test and play with and I did spend quite some money on beauty purchases ;)  Anyway there were a couple of things I couldn't resist buying and here they are :)

Let's start with a list:
- Deborah ShineTECH GelLike nail polish in shades 09 and 03
- Revlon Parfumier scented nail enamel in shade Bordeaux
- Omnia Botanica Argan Oil
- Deborah Milano Colour Copy foundation for oily to combination skin in shade 02
- Catrice Liquid Metal eyeshadow in 080 Mauves like Jagger
- Essence Beach Cruisers lipgloss in shade 02 Girls just wanna have fun
- Dove Purely pampering nourishing lotion with pisatchio cream and magnolia
- Bourjois Happy Light ultra-covering concealer in shade 21 Ivore
- Avon Femme EDP 50 ml

- Balea Totes Meer Salz oil peeling
- The Body Shop White Musk Libertine EDP
- Essence Get Big lashes! Volume curl mascara
- Garnier Neo deodorant invisible dry-cream, fragrance free
- Revlon Powder blush in shade 050 Berry rich

Still, quite a lot of newbies, I had hoped to spend less on the make up but I still ended up with more than I need. Anyway, it was fun shopping and affording all these goodies, also I loved to get these on different discounts and second hand, because it didn't cost me as much as it would otherwise. Mostly I have a bad feeling because I really need to start using up all my products or they will go to waste... As for skin care products - all were needed and are being used regularly :P

Starting with my face - I got myself a new concealer by Bourjois, it's called Happy Light and it's really good at covering dark circles or red spots from pimples. I have been using it every day now and I I think it might be even better, than my all time favourite Healthy mix one. Next is Deborah foundation.. I was able to resist it all March, but than I have heard so many praises I couldn't resist and I got myself the lightest shade. I bought it at DM store, for 50% discount. I don't know if it's still available, maybe just some shades. It's really good base, I like it almost as much as my Bourjois ones. Last for the face is Revlon powder blush in shade Berry Rich, bought at Click2chic web store, also on discount for about a little over 5 euros. Unfortunately I really don't like this one, this one was a bad buy... will write a proper review why this one dissapointed me.

For eyes - I got this Catrice eyeshadow from their Liquid metal range, which I have wantd to try for a really long time. I bought it second hand, but it was actually brand new. Cheap and a really great product, I love using this one. Regular price at the store is about a little less than 5 euros. Next is a quad eyeshadow by L'Oreal, which I stumbled upon by chance at my local DM store, and it was only 2 euros. I was not able to say no. I had to try it. Too bad I didn't already see in the store that the eyeshadows have been broken and fell out of the tray.. I fixed it for now. Also I must say I tried it only once until now, and I don't like it much. The shades are too dusty and the blue ones are not as vibrant as they look like. Last for the eyes is this mascara by Essence, which I bought just because I went to work with my face half finished. I was in such a rush I forgot to apply my mascara. I did the rest of the eyes and make up, but it looked really weird with no mascara.

For nails - I got all three on sales, all three at Click2chic web shop. The Revlon one was on my wishlist for a couple of months now and I wnated to try the new perfumed collection, so I used the discounts they were offering. I must say I love the shade, but not the scent, which is very gentle, not at all what I expected. The two Deborah nail polishes I also got for 50% discount and I have already posted about the shade 09 here :)

For lips - yeey, I am really proud of myself - only two new products for lips this month! Hahaha, I know some will think this is really not something to be proud of, but I really am happy I didn't get any other products for lips. I still have so many to review. I got this lipgloss by Essence, which is not available here in Slovenia yet, but will be in the coming month or two. It's very light and a product I have in my purse to apply whenever I feel like. The other product is Maybelline lipstick in shade Orange Attitude. After Mad for magenta and that amazing colour and applicationa dn everything, I wanted to try another shade and DM was offering 25% discount, so I wished for a  hot summer shade, price being about 6 euros.

I have not purchased a perfume for about 5 months now, something like that and I got two really good deals for these two. One is by Avon, it's called Famme and I really adore this one! It's mostly suitable for spring time, but since it's so light and sooo amazingly suits any situation, I am really satisfied with it. Second one is by The Body Shop, it's called White Musk Libertine and it's quite strong scented and very heavy. A bit more for the autumn and winter time, but that's not a problem for me. I must admit I prefer the Avon one. Both of them are eau de parfum, Femme being brand new and containing 50 ml and White Musk Libertine being also EDP, already used a bit and 30ml. Both were purchased by second hand :)

And some body care :) I got the Dove body lotion second hand with a trade for one of my products and I must say I really like it, the scent is something special. Also makes my skin feel really smooth. I have also already tried the Balea oil peeling and really love the scent of lemongrass, seems a pretty good product, possible repurchase :) I haven't tried the in shower milk Balea product ( a version of Nivea products), not yet. Also Haven't opened the Garnier deodorant yet, but I hope it will not leave white marks on my clothing. The product I must really point out is the Omnia Botanica argan oil! I love, love , love this one! What this one does for your skin - it's amazing! I am using it almost for three weeks now, every evening before sleep on my face and it helped me heal my scars and red spots and my skin feels smooth and less dehydrated. I strongly recommend this product :) I have greasy skin and this made it look better, also a bit less greasy during the day ( but this depends a lot on what base and foundation you use...)

So this is it :) What newbies did you get yourself this month?

And now more photos :)

I got the OPI nail polish second hand, and it was practically new, almost never used. I love it, such a perfect shade and very good coverage with just one coat! I bought Essie in DM store, I had a 50% discount :P Haven't tried it yet, I hope it will be ok. The nail stickers I got when I traded some of my stuff I didn't use anymore.

Revlon Crush is the first one I have from the Just Bitten Kissable balm stains, I haven't tried any other shade yet. This one was also second hand, since I think they are a bit too expensive here, almost 11euros.. and frankly, I don't like the other shades much, this one was the best from the range.. The perfume was also second hand, but it was barely open, so I had no objections and bought it. I love this collection, I love the scent of roses, so I thought this was a good deal :) Neutrogena lip balm I got at DM store, also on discount 50%, because I donated 50 of my DM points to their cherity cause. :) Haven't opened it yet, but a friend recommended this is a really good balm that actually does what it promises :)

I bought these three on Click2Chic web store, I had 30% discount :P I always wanted to try the Skinlights, so I was tempted and decided to buy this one :) I have been using it every day since I got it, along with my Revlon Nearly Naked foundation and I have been quite satisfied with this one :) Gives a really nice base :) Also I decided to try some lipglosses by Revlon, because in the previous two months I bought a lot of their Lip Butters. I chose the darkest two shades, Fatal Apple and Berry Allure. I watched swatches from Temptalia and I fell in love. These two are quite sheer and gentle, not at all like they seem in the bottle. Since I expected it I was not dissapointed. I love to use both, I find them very suitable for work :)

I know this one shouldn't be on this lits, I don't need it at all... but look at the cute packaging!!! I simply fell in love with this one and had to try it :) I decided to buy the Dakar shade, not the London one ( that one had more purply shades in it). Deborah is one of my favourite brands for eyeshadows, also for lip glosses, so I expected this to be a good product. I only swatched it so far, never tried it yet, but it looks very promising. I bought it at DM store, another 50% off discount, otherwise these costs almost 20e, which is way too much for me... You get 3 eyeshadows in it, two lippies, two cream shadows, 1 multipurpose powder, 1 blusher, 1 bronzer and 1 applicator, also a small mirror :)

Next is by Essence, it's shimmer powder from their latest Ice Ice Baby limited edition, which you can still get in DM stores in Slovenia, Muller already had it. I got the powder as a winner of a giveaway on Facebook, from Revija Eva :) I only tested it so far, but honestly this does not impress me at all.. I loved the snowflake design, but that was all.. I had an obssession with snowflakes for like a month, so I was ready to buy something from this collection, but seeing it in store.. it really didn't impress me enough, so I didn't get myself anything else.

This is my first The Body Shop product, I never had anything from them before. I actually got this through a friend, second hand, but it was completely new and originaly packaged :P I have already opened it and smelled it and tried it :) It is great, sweet chocolate! A real bargain for all chocoholics :P So far I've been loving this, but I mainly use it at home, since it's in a pot and I can wash my hands at home more regularly :)

Another chocolate lip balm, this one is by Oriflame. I love this one too, it actually helps my lips, but the scent here is too strong and I like the one from TBS more. But this one has a prettier packaging :P Also got this from second hand, but it was again completely new and originaly packaged.. so in my opinion, these two were a really good deal!

Another  Christmas gift to me from the company where I work :) I got something else too, but I gave that away and used it as a gift, since I really don't need so many L'Occitane products :P I still have an untouched shower gel from last Christmas, so I really should be using that first... So I got the new La Collection de Grasse, Fleur d'Or & Acacia body milk which smells amazing! I love the scent so much I am actually thinking of getting myself the small perfume from the collection, the 7,5ml one... this is really an amazing smell, go check it out if you haven't already :P Also I got this one minute hand scrub which I never had before, but I was told this is amazing and makes your hands really soft and smooth! Can't wait to try it :P

Onto my big Essence haul.. I got this on a special web site, with coupons, discounts and such.. so I decided to buy it. I will use a lof ot these in my future giveaway, which will be announced for my birthday, but it will be only Facebook giveaway :) Stay tuned, keep reading my blog and my Fb page in January :P

Another Christmas gift to me from a friend,  the amazingly smelling AVON body mist and Essence foundation. Will see how the second one works for me, but I love the body mist, a really nice smell. On me it's strong enough to be used just so, as a perfume. :)

I got these two products by NYX from MojaDrogerija to test them and review them. :) I haven't gotten around yet to write the post, but I have already used this and I like the shade of the pigment very much, but the lip liner doesn't suit me well... more proper review coming soon :)

Another L'Occitane product that I got as a gift for Saint Nicolas :) I haven't tried it yet, but again I was told by others who already had it that this is a great product, good as a hand wash or body wash, whatever you prefer to use it for :) The hand cream I bought myself, DM store but of course :) It isn't expensive, something like 2,25 euros... It doesn't have a specific or strong scent, but it really nourishes the hands. However, I find it too greasy to use it at work, so I have it at home on my desk and use it there :)

The last product I got the past year was this lip lacquer by ArtDeco, in shade 30. The shade is a perfect red, with full coverage, well pigmented and with a glossy finish. I love the shade, it suits me a lot but it is quite strong, a statement lippie. :) Another product that I got second hand, but it was totally worth it! I never had before any of the ArtDeco lip products and I really like this one. :) Now I know for the future, I will definitely try some more of these :)

I didn't include all of my gifts from December because they were too many... I got a book, voucher for whatever I want to buy in Qlandia, scented candles, some warm socks and some more comfy socks.. a lot of sweets, a board game to play together with my bf& friends, make up related stuff I posted here,  and some more stuff :) It was all in all a great month, that slipped by me very fast since I was at work a lot... so I am kinda happy December 2013 is over and I can finally move on with my own plans :) Thank you all for the lovely gifts and surprises :) I hope you also had a nice month, nice holidays and lots of lovely gifts :)

Thanks for reading!
