August FAVOURITES!

Hello! I guess this will be the last sort of summer oriented favourites for this year.  It took me awhile to finish up this post and it's already fall season, but these products definitely impressed me so much I will use them even in the colder months.

NEW IN August :)

Hey there! So summer's almost completely over. Time to go back to work/school and no more free time or vacations. I am slowly returning to more regular blogging as well, which for you means at least something new and interesting to read every once in a while! ;) I haven't been able to keep up with my new in blog posts so this year I have merged some of them together, like the June&July one. That one was massive, also thanks to a beauty blogger event goodies I have received. This one however is a lot shorter, though I must admit, I have felt spendy and bought a couple of products I really didn't need. Let's call them treats for the soul, shall we? XD

Oriflame sent me some amazing goodies in August! I got to try out their new foundation - Giordani Gold Liquid Silk Foundation SPF 12*  in shade Vanilla. I love the luxuriously looking packaging and the pipette for dispensing the foundation. The shade is a bit light for me at the moment, but it will suit me better when I loose all the tan I got during summer. I have barely started testing it out and I must say the first impression is rather good! The light texture really has a nice natural and silky finish. Even my boyfriend commented that I look more natural than usual, less pale because I have less foundation on my face. Anyway, gonna give it a more thorough testing and then a full review up here! Oriflame Eau de Toilette My Little Garden* has a gorgeous bell shaped bottle. Love the scent as well, even though it's EdT. Smells like sitting in the middle of a flower garden, love it! Not too overpowering scent and I like that it doesn't have the sweet twist to it. I hate it when brands combine floral scents with strong candy ones. Oriflame The ONE No compromises mascara* is their latest mascara and has premiered in the new September catalog. I have only tried it once so far, I like the brush a lot! Separates my lashes well. Doesn't coat them too thickly, but it looks like more of a daytime mascara. On my super short and stubborn lashes it looked very natural and appropriate for daytime.

I haven't been using feet products regularly, except for summertime, when it's hot and I wear sandals and a lot more nail polish and such. So I got a package by Oriflame that really surprised me and I didn't even know how much I needed these! XD  Feet up  summer fresh foot spray and  foot cream with strawberry & rhubarb*  have a lovely scent and feel fresh on the skin. The spray is amazing! I have used it a lot on hot days, to keep my feet looking good! The scent is not too artificial, which is always nice. Some brands tend to make the strawberry scents way too sweet. The cream absorbs well and quickly, so both products count as a positive surprise. I've also tried out  The ONE moisture gel polish*. This one became an instant favourite!

Needed some hair products so I went for another repurchase of Batiste dry shampoo for brown hair. There's really no point in talking about this one again, I have expressed my love for it up here on this blog a number of times. For shampoo I wanted to try out something new so I bought Schwarzkopf Schauma Nature moments Provence herbs & lavender and Mediterranean olive oil & aloe vera shampoo. I started testing out the lavender one in September and so far, I am really liking it. Smells super nice, foams nicely. My hair feel light and clean after washing, if you know what I mean. They feel light, but not too dry at the same time, just soft and clean and no greasy residue. They also have a slight lavender scent, but it doesn't last long. 

A couple of new skincare bits. I treated myself with Afrodita Cosmetics salt peeling and 100% SPA Detox Therapy body milk essential oils and natural hyaluronic acid. I couldn't resist the lavender scented salt peeling and it really smells like heaven. The combo of argan and lavender is really amazing and the body souffle impressed me as well. The Detox therapy lotion has a nice pump dispenser and I like the fresh scent of it. I haven't tested it out properly yet, but it sinks into the skin really fast and leaves no greasy residue. Balea Universal cream Fur Dich with coconut and cherry scent was a treat just because. I really like their vintage looking packagings and I always buy the new scents. This one has amazing scent as well and the same effective texture as always!

I treated myself with some makeup bits. Golden Rose Long stay liquid matte lipstick 15 is a shade that got really popular around me. I have a lot of friends who have this exact shade. Some love it, some say it's a disappointment. I honestly really like it. The shade, the  texture, the lasting power all impressed me. Not my first shade from the collection and definitely not the last one. L.O.V Cosmetics  Perfectitude primer serum was a product I actually needed to buy. I ran out of all my face primers and I was searching for something else to try out. My price point was up to 10 euros, but I accidentally took this one instead of the one for oily skin. It was about 12 euros but it serves me well. Makes my skin soft and I feel like it gives me a more dewy base than I am used to. Maybelline COLORsensational 986 Melted chocolate matte lipstick is a gorgeous light brown lipstick. Perfect for daytime wear and dries down to a complete matte finish. Love the light feeling on the lips and it never dries too much. I have bought three lippies from the Catrice Blessing Browns LE. The shade I actually liked and will keep on is C04 Plum Sucree. It's the perfect muted mauve shade for daily wear. The texture is light like a souffle, but it needs to be applied on a really well prepared lips.

The kind representatives of Le Couvent Des Minimes from Stillmark d.o.o. sent me an amazing cologne to try out - Botanical Cologne of the Priory hydrolat de verveine*. Loved to use it all through out the hot August weather and also now in September. When I started using perfumes I was more for florals and such, but lately I really love the fresh scented ones, like this one. Smells citrus like, but at the same time not too much like a fruity lemon. the perfect balance of verveine gives it just the right combination of making it perfect for daytime wear without smelling like a cleaning product at the same time. I have also received L'Occitane Roses et reines en Rouge hand cream* which was a part of a limited edition by L'Occitane. I am not sure if you can still get it in the stores, but I like the scent of this a lot. Their hand creams never disappoint me and this one is keeping me company this fall in my hand bag! NIVEA Cellular anti-age intensiv kur hyaluron* is the latest addition to Nivea skincare products. I have yet to try out this product, I was sort of waiting to finish up with some other products, so I can really do a full report on it. I think it will suit my skin type, as I need some hydro boost and what better way then intensive care with hyaluron.

I was feeling spendy in August and I ordered a couple of products from Ličila.si. I bought the Makeup Revolution Flawless Resurrection eyeshadow palette which was supposedly a dupe for ABH Modern Romance. I don't have both to compare, but this one will have to do, I guess. I am trying to incorporate the shades into my daytime looks and some pink tones are sort of hard to use as they don't really fit with my overall makeup choices. So far I like the palette, but will see if I'm gonna make a full review of it or not. Along with it I ordered two new lippies - I heart makeup Lip lava Molten chocolate I heart chocolate and Death by chocolate. Shade I heart chocolate has a colder undertone and looks like a mix between deep pink and a hint of fuchsia, while the Death by chocolate looks more like a deep cherry with a brown undertone. One for day time and one for going out. Both have shiny, lacquered finish when applied but it settles down to a semi shiny finish. They don't last well on me, unfortunately. I need to reapply a lot, especially after eating. But that's kinda understandable, can't keep the finish and colour intact with such shades. Though, the I heart chocolate survives eating and drinking better then the other shade.

One package made my week or maybe even month. This one was also sent to me by Ličila.si, but for the purposes of testing out. I got Makeup Revolution Pro HD Amplified 35 palette Commitment*, Makeup Revolution Luxury powder banana* and I heart makeup Unicorns heart rainbow highlighter*. Ličila.si store was celebrating 7th birthday and they have also expanded and sell Makeup Revolution product at Tuš drogerija stores. I was super lucky and I got three amazing products to try out. From what I have tested out I really like the banana powder, perfect for my under eye area. especially matches well with my Bourjois foundations. The rainbow highlighter looks very strong or very natural, however I want it and on the face doesn't look as scary at all. I was kinda expecting it too be too strong, but it really looks good! The eyeshadow palette is huge and has amazing combination of shades. Haven't tested all of them out yet, but I love them so far! Nice pigmentation, easy to blend and last well on me. Perfect for creating day time looks or some mauve, purple smoky eyes.

Hello! Another month gone by and I've been pretty good in April, I got some amazing stuff, treated myself with some more but for once I didn't go overboard! I did however try to test out a lot of product as much as I could and I hope May will be more productive regarding future posts and there should be quite a lot of them! Now lets see what I've been treating myself with this month!

NEW IN September :)

Hello! It's Autumn! And time for a lot more makeup than during Summer! And as I was just finishing my year at University I had treated myself quite a bit... one more year to go and I am done with studying! :P I thought I had less newbies this month, but it turned out that I have purchased quite a lot of products and if I was sent a lot of goodies last month and was saving money I spent a lot of it this month! Let's check out the newbies!

My friend started making her own homemade DIY natural cosmetics under the name WorldNaturelle and she was so kind to share some with me! I have been pampering with Calendula & Shea kiss lip balm, Reviving Lavander all-in-one body scrub, Rich Lavander body balm and two shower packs, but I photographed here only one as the other one I have already used up - Fresh as a Peppermint herbal shower pack and I love Coconut & Lavander herbal shower pack! These products come in a hand made, recycled packaging, everything is hand written on a recycled paper! All the ingredients, how to use, when it was made... really amazing concept and I hope this will grow into a serious business. I love the idea, the packaging, the ingredients and most importantly - the products themselves! I love the body scrub as it can be used as a body scrub, as a bath salt and also as a shower product, but it's a bit different than any other shower gel you will ever try. The shower packs are for one time use only and they are really interesting as you kind of make a tea first, than add a mix of oils and butters and mix all together in a big jar and simply pour it all over you once under shower...  Holy grail products from the bunch for me are the lip balm and body balm - they smell amazing, have really good textures, sink well into the skin, nourish it! Especially the Lavander body balm! Amazing stuff! If you are UK - London based you can contact her and try out some products for yourself! This trio speaks for itself, doesn't it? There is nothing better than investing into a good shower gel product especially if you can get it for a reasonable price. I have bought Weleda Citrus Erfrischungsdusche, Wildrose Werohndusche and Lavandel Enstpannungsdusche at my local DM store as they had discounts this past week 1+1... I have two Citrus shower lotions but for the sake of a more beautiful photo I only showed you one. So far I have only tested a drop of the Citrus one and it's a pretty creamy texture, more a lotion than gel, comes in a milky white coloring and has a lovely lemony scent, very fresh! As for the other two I am not sure, as I have not tested them yet... Anyway, the deal was too good to pass and I have already been recommended these shower lotions, especially the Lavander one.

 Some more spending time at DM. If you read my last months new in, you know I have been very impressed with Borotalco Original Deo roll on, and as with the Weleda products these were also 1+1 and I made a stock of these as well! As I don't need to reapply it so many times during the day as other deodorants I believe these will last me a very long time! And some of you may know I am a big coconut lover, everything coconut wins for me - products, cosmetics, food... anything really. Except Malibu or even worse - malibu-cola combination. Anyway, I wanted to try this Vanille&Cocos shower gel by Balea and I must say it is more vanilla than coconut scented and the scent is well, very gentle. It's a decent product but nothing impressive. As for the other shower gel,  Hibiskus& Nektarine, I can not say yet, as I have not tried it yet, but from the packaging it's got a nice juicy scent.

A mix of beauty products - I have received Aussie  3 Minute miracle shine deep treatment as a gift at Aussie event this month :) I am already testing the 3 Minute reconstructor, but this one will have to wait a bit. So far I am liking the reconstructor, but will see how the rest of the Aussie products will work for me. I will not post a separate post about the event, but I will probably talk about it alongside with the review, but you can check some other Slovenian bloggers and what they wrote about the event (Tatjana, Ana). Next to it is Himalaya Herbals Multipurpose cream I simply wanted to see if it will help me heal my scars faster as I had scratched my acne really badly and left huge scars on my jaw line. It didn't impress me, it's an ok cream , but nothing special so far, will see if it will work on me at all or not. It does have a very strong perfumed scent, which I must say I find too strong and makes me dislake the product even more.  From Kozmetika Afrodita I have wanted to try some face masks so I treated myself with Why Mask Fresh & Well-rested look, a new eye mask, that you leave to sink in and actually helps a bit, but will have to test it some more, plus  Why Mask SOS Calming, which I have not tested yet, but wanted to see how it works and well if it smells of lavander or not :P

For face I needed to restock on foundations and lucky me (NOT!), the Bourjois foundation Flower Perfection is being discontinued! So I bought two bottles while I still could, as this is one of my all time favourites! You can read more about it here, in my Guide through Bourjois foundations :) As I have invested some more into foundations, I feel like I made enough of a stock to last me a whole year! :D I bought secondhand L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24h-Matte mattifying foundation in shade 11 Vanilla. I have been testing it a bit, a couple of times per week and it seems ok, but it really depends what I apply under it. If I use a mattifying primer it works best and really lasts longer, makes me look matte a bit longer. Otherwise, it's just another foundation and it didn't impress me yet. The coverage could be better, at least on me, but with craters (very large pores) like mine you can not expect miracles. Maybe I don't apply enough of it to make it more covering but I prefer to keep it that way. I am still on the fence about this one, we shall see when I test it some more. I have traded something of mine for Dermacol Filmstudio  Barrandov Prague Make-up Cover in shade 207. I must say I expected even more coverage, as everyone has been promising it to me, but this did not deliver as I imagined. I guess I had high expectations. Also, it tends to look pink on my skin and doesn't match my other foundations or concealers so it needs to be applied first than covered up with my usual makeup. It does perform well with my spots and such, but not so much with my dark under-eye area. Still, need to test it some more before I can give a full review, hope it will perform better in the future. And two Catrice products from the latest range update! I finally got Prime and Fine Professional Contouring palette in 010 Ashy Radiance and Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer in 010 Porcellain. Both products I have only had the time to try once until now, and both seem very promising, so far first impressions have been good. Easy to use, apply, do the job very well and all in all I am very much looking forward to testing these out some more :)

If you are reading this blog only half frequently you know I am a huge fan of everything lips related and so here are new lip balms! I have repurchased another Labello Pure&Natural Olive &Lemon, as this one is being discontinued as well... So I have made a bit of a stash as this one is a really good lip balm! From the new ones I have gotten myself Care &Colour Nude caring lip balm and I must say I don't like it, especially the nude shade as it's simply too light for me and sinks into any possible pore or crack I have on my lips and doesn't look good at all. It's also a bit less nourishig and therefore more like a Maybelline Baby lips balm, but with more pigmentation, that sadly just looks awful on me. This shade definitely didn't impress me, but if you have Pink or Red let me know how they seem to you? Also traded some products for the last two lip products - I have now Le Couvent Des Minimes Orange Blossom aroma smile lip balm which really has a lovely orange scent! I have been really liking this, the texture, the feeling on the lips, the nourishing effect and scent all seem really good! The last lip balm I have not tried yet is from the new Dvorec Trebnik dt cosmetics line and it's Strawberry lip balm. Smells really lovely of strawberries, hope it also nourishes well.

And some eyeshadow essentials for fall/winter time :P From my trade with a fellow blogger I have now new KIKO Makeup Milano treats - from the lovely limited edition Rebel Romatic I have Reckless Spirit Eyeshadow palette in shade 02 Fiery rose, Colour Definition eyeliner and kajal in shade 03 Warrior Violet and  Liquid Intense Eyeliner in shade 02 Purple. I Have already had the time to test these goodies at leats once and they are pretty amazing, really loving the smoothness of the eyeshadows and also the liquid eyeliner that may seem  darker from afar. Lovely romantic rosy-violet-y shades, perfect for fall. Also got Oriflame  The ONE 5-in-1 Wonderlash mascara waterproof in the package but haven't gotten the chance to try it yet. But many Oriflame mascaras have impressed me  and I hope this one will work for me too. One of the best mascaras are made by MaxFactor (and L'oreal, if you ask me) and so of course I couldn't pass a chance at trying out this Masterpiece Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Volumising mascara. Haven't tried it yet, but I have high hopes for it as I previously had some really good experiences with their mascaras. And the last beauty on the photo is Makeup Revolution London 32 eyeshadow palette Affirmation! Whole summer all I wanted was to get my hands on Mermaids forever and than colder weather started and fall was coming and I was like... hmm what about something more suitable for fall/winter time.. and here I am, finally with a new big eyeshadow palette that is really affordable and the shades are simply gorgeous! From everyday looks to smokey evening looks, you can create almost anything with these... I am in love!

Oh yes, have I already told you I love lipsticks, lipglosses and such? :D Here's a big bunch of products I have received as gifts and the ones I bought myself :) Let's start with Essence! From their limited edition Happy Girls Are Pretty I have sheer lipbalm in shade 02 Live, laugh, love and repeat which is really amazing as it's more pigmented than expected and gives a lovely shade. I have already posted a full review here :) The second is their new liquid lipstick in shade 06 make a statement. A lovely shade, perfect for fall, I hope I will be able to post about it soon! Have only tried it once so far and seems promising, light texture, gives very glossy finish. After a very long time I have again an Alverde lipstick in shade 28 Deep Violet. A very deep berry, violet-y shade which is perfect for fall, but the lipstick feels a bit dry when applying, so will have to test it out some more, first impression is not that great, still the shade is amazing! And it also has a very strong scent, very sweet one! From Revlon I have received as a gift a new Ultra HD lipstick in shade 830 HD Rose. I have already reviewed shade Petunia, but I have some mixed feelings about this range. Rose shade didn't impress me at first two applications, really didn't sit well on my lips, but the third try was better as my lips were really spotless and well pampered before. Maybe it was just that and I will fall in love with the Rose shade soon, will test some more but I will not be making a separate review for this shade as well. From Bottega Verde comes my first ever product by them, and it's not a skincare product as I thought it would be but a make-up product! I have treated myself with Intense moisturising lipstick with Red grape extract and Hyaluronic acid in shade Canella. There are total twelve shades (on Italian BV site) but this one seemed most wearable to me. I have never ever been in the shop before or bought anything from the brand myself but I am actually loving this lipstick and may be returning for some more goodies. I love the shade of the packaging and the shape, the texture of this lipstick is amazing, glides on well and really moisturizes, the shade is a more brown-ish nude and I personally find it perfect for everyday wear! I have also received two new Deborah Milano lippies, Absolute lasting liquid lipstick in shades 03 and 07. These are truly amazing! One swipe, full coverage, even shade, lasts amazingly and even if you rub of the clear top coat, the shade just sits there and doesn't budge at all! Really amazing stuff, I was expecting a more liquid product that just transfers like a gloss onto anything you eat or drink, but this really lasts. I couldn't even wash my hands after swatching, really needed to rub it off. The last two goodies are from Bourjois and they were 1+1 so I treated myself with Sweet Kiss gloss in shades 04 incogni-rose and 02 Rose qui peut. Loving both shades, especially the Incogni-rose one, perfect fall lip gloss! Feel very light on the lips and well, simply as they should. Anyway, you know I love Bourjois, and  have had some lipglosses from them before so I have high hopes for these two as well.

There's a new brand available in Slovenia, finally we can shop some Golden Rose! Of course I had to go see for myself and I bought two new products - Golden Rose Paris Nail lacquer in shade 97 and Golden Rose Velvet Matte lipstick in shade 20. The nail polish didn't impress me, love the shade, hate the application, but will see after some more testing if there's a trick how to apply it more evenly. The lipstick is gorgeous deep red matte shade, perfect for fall/winter months and I have been loving it! Will write two separate reviews on these products. And some lovely bits that are new this month - H&M necklace, some Ebelin sunglasses that were just too cute, the shape got me and I had to have them. A new hair clip by Ebelin, that can also be a brooch. And some really cozy soft sleep socks by Fascino.

And some more newbies - L'Oreal Paris Elseve Fibrology shampoo is a repurchase, have already spoken about it on my blog. Also wanted to see if S-he cosmetics still do some good products so I got Mineral loose powder in shade 001 Ivory. Haven't tested yet, but will see, it only cost me something over 1 euro, so if it doesn't work for me I won't be too sad. I will be however very sad if Bourjois Air Mat undetectable matte finish foundation in shade 01 Rose Ivory won't work for me. I have really wanted to try this and it's finally available in Slovenia. Had some tough time choosing between the lightest two shades, they were so similar under fake shop lights so I can only hope I chose the right shade and that it will fit me. Just got it, so I have no first impressions for you yet.  From Balea I already have Golden Glamour hand lotion and now I will also be pampering with bath salt, can't wait! And some new goodies from Catrice that I have received - Beautifying lip smoother in shade 040 Coffee to go and from their latest limited edition Fallosophy new Nail lacquer in shade C05 Morning Dew and two lipsticks Soft Lip colour C02 Rustic Rose and C03 Little Red Riding Hood. I believe I have enough new lipsticks for ages to come and you will be sick of reading only lipstick reviews on my blog, but damn I love them all! As these are all new and I only had time to make a quick snap of them, there are no first impressions yet to share, except that I love the shades, they seem very wearable!

I know, you must think I went crazy, and I admit I did, a bit, but September is month of new products, getting ready for fall, new discounts and such, and I believe it's the month I spend the most on myself and my wishes. Be ready for a lot of new reviews, I will try my best to show them as many as possible in October and November :P And from now on I have a shopping ban, especially for make up, as I really made a big stock of everything and need to use something up, I have nowhere to store the goodies anymore :P Just kidding, there will still be newbies, but only the ones I have already planned to purchase in October. No side shopping and other goodies, need to enjoy what I already have :)

Review: Makeup Revolution - Pro Fix oil control fixing spray :)

Hello! Some time ago I have received another product by Makeup Revolution to test and try but only now managed to write a review. I have received their Pro Fix oil control fixing spray. A bit earlier I have bought Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray and I was really curious how will this one perform. I thought this could be even better for me as I have oily skin and maybe help me keep my makeup on spot. I was testing this for a some time now, with different makeups, different products and also different weather (hot/cold days). 

What is it? - Makeup Revolution Oil control fixing spray is a lightweight setting spray that helps deflect surface shine for a natural matte finish. High-tech ingredients keep foundation and eye makeup in place with no smudging or fading for that just-applied natural look lasting up to 12 hours.

Directions - Shake well before use, apply makeup as usual. Hold the bottle 8 to 10 inches away from your face and spray a light mist making sure eyes are closed. Product will dry and set naturally.

The packaging of the products is a simple plastic bottle with spray pump. It contains 100 ml od product and costs about 6,95 euros. It's really a simple plastic bottle with black and gold writing, nothing much special about it. 

The pump dispenses a fine clear mist which I really liked as I don't want to get my face all wet and ruin makeup by any chance. It despenses evenly. You do need to hold it away from your face at leats 20 cm.

The scent of the product doesn't bother me much as I never  apply too much product but it may bother others as it really sort of smells like hospitals hand sanitizer. When the product sets on you face and dries the scent is no longer present at all. So you don't need to wait long, as it really dries fast. I find that it likes to leave my face a bit sticky, even though I am really carefull not to apply too much. 

Mostly I used it after all my makeup was done and than spreyed it on my face, (including after applying my setting powder). I must say it did dry fast but some spots on my face tended to stay shiny. I never tried to reapply setting powder on top of the spray as I felt there were just too many layers and everything started to move out of place.

However this spray can be also used to intenisfy your eyeshadow look. You can use the product so that you first spray the clean brush a bit, than take the eyeshadow you like and apply it on your lids. It's actually like a wet look technique, just with using this spray. 

As for the oil control part I must say it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. It did help a bit, but I was still oily and shiny after three hours of wear and I did hope this would help me keep my face more fresh. It would probably work better on those who already don't need much anti-shine, anti-oilyness products, but well I need them and Urban Decay All nighter worked better for me in terms of keeping my face shine free for a longer period of time. However this product did help me keep my makeup longer on my face, the lasting power of my foundation elongated but it didn't help me with the shine...

All in all it's a good product but not that amazing... Slovenian readers can buy it at Ličila.si or MakeupRevolutionSlovenija :) The price is reasonable and affordable for 100 ml bottle, so if you think you could find more uses for this spray and also that it would help you keep your face shine-free, you should give it a go!

Review: I Heart Makeup - Nail Geek - 22 Streetwise :)

Pozdravljeni! Tokrat sem za vas pripravila kratko sobotno objavico :) V test sem s strani Makeup Revolution Slovenija prejela I Heart Makeup lak za nohte v odtenku 22 Streetwise :) Gre za super ("mauve"/"minky"/"lilacy") odtenek, ki je tako primeren za vsakodnevno uporabo kot za posebne priložnosti. Gre za umirjen vijoličast odtenek z rahlim pridihom sivkaste barve, pa vendar ne deluje preveč hladen. 

Hello! Today I have a short saturday post for you and it's a review of a nail polsih I have recieved to test and try from Makeup Revolution Slovenia. It's I Heart Makeup Nail geek nail polsih in shade 22 Streetwise. It's a really great colour, best described as mauve/ lilacy/minky shade. I find it perfect for every day use or for special occasions.

Zelo mi je všeč formula tega laka, saj se res enostavno nanese, pigmentacija pa je tudi odlična, saj sem za popolno prekrivnost potrebovala samo eno plast. Tudi čopič je ravno prav velik in ravno prav oblikovan, da je bil nanos res enostaven.  Mislim, da bi ga brez problema plastila v dva sloja za bolj močno prekrivnost in za bolj poenoteno barvo, vendar se mi ni zdelo potrebno. Če si vzamem čas ter lepo namažem vsak noht posebej je ena plast že dovolj. Finish laka je kremen, pa vendar ravno prav svetleč. Ker nisem uporabila nobenega podlaka vam lahko povem tudi, da ne pušča nobene obarvanosti na nohtih. Prav tako nisem uporabila nobenega nadlaka in lahko točno vidite kakšen je finish samega laka. Kar se tiče obstojnosti, pa je pri meni tako kot pri vseh drugih lakih, kruši in poka že isti dan (ne glede na to ali nanesem nadlak/podlak ali ne), ker imam pač tako zelo mehke nohte, da se mi uvijejo že če si želim samo popraviti majico ali kaj podobnega, in če res ne pazim kaj delam z rokami je torej to res ekspresno. Navadno toleriram te razpokice ter kakšen okrušen košček kak dan ali dva, malo na hitro popravim z čopičem ter nato, ko res ne zdržim več odstranim celotni lak.

I really like the formula of this nail polish, it's easy to work with, application is easy and pigmentation is also very good, I only needed one coat. The brush is just the right size and shape and really helpes with the easy application. I could apply two coats, but I really didn0t feel the need to. If I take enough time and work slowly I can use only one coat and it will be opaque and won't need another coat. The finish of this nail polsih is really creamy, but still a bit shiny. I did not use any base coat and I can tell you that this nail polish didn't leave me any stains on my nails. Also I did not use any top coat and you can really see the real finish of the nail polish. Longivety is something that is always a problem with me as I have really soft nails that bend with the slightest pressure and well, my nail polish with it. Usually it starts to brreak the same day after application and I just try to fix it up and after a day or two there is way too much damage and I need to remove it.

NEW IN May :)

Hello! The end of May, already?? Well, this one was definitely extremely fast! I must say I don't even remember much of what I was doing this month, it just flew by me, but I did manage to spoil myself some  with a couple of new lovely bits :) I have also been really lucky again and received a lot of amazing stuff to test and review, so let me know if anything really stands out to you and you would love to read it's review first! :)

AlpStories is a new brand on our market and I had a chance to have my skin checked out by lets say a specialist. They had a couple events where you could come and they would analize your skin, moisture levels, sebum, pores, redness and such and it was for free, so of course when I got the email I had to confirm my visit. Every visitor received a gift, a grapefruit scented  bath salt. I haven't tried it yet, but it smells really fresh, hope I will like it. I was also introduced to all the new products by them and decided to splurge a bit and bought their cleansing gel with sage and mint extracts. I have already tested it out and it's really good, feels very fresh on my skin and as much as I can see it really does remove makeup and oils and other stuff from my skin very well. The only downside of the product is the price, 13 euros is quite a lot, but I was really impressed and wanted to try something, everyone was posting so many great reviews for these products. I also wanted to buy their marigold facial oil, but I already bought two this month and well, enough is enough...

So the other two facial oils I did purchase this month are Omnia Botanica Pure Organic Argan Oil, which was actually a repurchase as I really liked it before and I believe it made my skin really soft and glowing and most importantly it really helped me heal my blemishes faster and also all the scars from scratching them. I know many don't recommend argan oil to younger people, but I feel it's really universal and you don't need to have mature skin to use it and enjoy the results. I haven't started using it yet, it will have to wait a bit in my stash. And the second one I bought was by AVON and it's from their Planet Spa collection, it's called Heavenly Hydration with mediterranean oilve oil. I had my eyes set on this one for the last six months or so and finally had a chance to get it a bit cheaper and I am already testing it out, it smells really nice. It's a fresh scent, but very gentle, and the oil is a bit more liquidy than I'm used to  but still sinks into my skin fast enough. So far, I've been liking it very much.

And some body care :) The first item you see is a kind of massage brush and I have just gotten it so I haven't tried it yet. I exchanged it for another of my products I haven't been using so.. saved some money. Looks really promising thou, hope there will be some results too. :) I needed a new shower gel, as I have finished my stash completely! Congrats to me! I have no more shower gels in my bathroom, I have finally gotten to the part where I buy one when I need one. I bought myself a very lovely scented Nivea Frangipani & Oil shower gel. Really loving the fresh, sweet summer scent! The next two products I bought because I had some discounts to use up and I actually thought I will start using one of these really soon (just finished a bottle of Kozmetika Afrodita anti-cellulite cream), but then I have received another one to test and well, that one will go first and these two will have to wait a bit in my stash.. I will probably start one of these two in about a month - Kozmetika Afrodita Pitaya active cream gel 3in1 slim effect and Nivea Anti-Cellulite Gel-cream. I am leaning towards Nivea one a bit more.. as I have just finished a pitaya one by Afrodita and I would love a bit of change... but I have already started testing a new one by Anaya...

Some more bits I have purchased this month. Honestly all of these will have to wait their turn, as I bought them more for the sake of me wanting to try new stuff and having some discounts I really wanted to use. I got myself new KRASNA cleansing foram for face with lavander, but I actually wanted to repurchase their toner but they didn't have it... As I already have two cleansers open at the moment this one will have to wait a bit... Than I also got Natura Siberica Cleansing tonic for oily and combination skin, which was actually a repurchase, as I am currently already using one. It's a decent toner with a herbal scent I don't like very much, but it's a good toner so... why not repurchase if you can buy it 50% off... Another product from Natura Siberica is Rhodiola Rosea Night cream protection and regeneration for sensitive skin. I don't really have sensitive skin, but other facial creams  they offer at DM store simply don't fit me at all and this seemed really the best option. I have wanted to try some of their creams for about a year now and I have heard some really great comments about them so well, I had to give I a try. Last one is a hair mask by L'Oreal,  L'Oreal Paris Elseve Total Repair Extreme hair mask. I had once a product, also a mask from this same line ( but it was packaged in a tube) and it really did wonders for my hair so I used up my discounts and bought a hair mask in hope it will as good as the other one was. Will see thou, none of these products will be used any time soon, or maybe just the hair mask?

I also bought two new Nivea creams. I am really liking some regular universal creams lately and one of my all time wishes was to have a Nivea blue tin cream with a winter print on it.. but as it seems I never get to see any of those in our stores I randomly stumbled upon these summer cuties at my local Muller shop. I simply had to buy these two, as I couldn't decide which one I liked more. There were total four different designs but I liked these two the most and well it's an univeral cream, I am going to use it up anyway, so it's money well spent :) Look at the cute turtle and the tiny bunny :P

And moving on to makeup! First I got another eyeshadow palette, finally got my hands on Makeup Revolution London Flawless Matte palette! I really wanted to have this one for a couple of months now and it's finally mine! I have already tested some of the shades and they are really lovely, all matte and well, perfect for everyday use! Than I also decided to give it a go with another Bourjois mascara, it's their  1 Seconde Volume mascara Ultra Black. I must say I have already tried it and I am not impressed, not at all. I will try some more, maybe it's just the way I apply it, but simply this mascara did nothing for me, so it doesn't look good. Too bad really, I was hoping it would be better than the original 1 Seconde Volume mascara I bought last year. And for naily I have three new nail polishes. I swaped someting of mine for another nail polish, I got Oriflame The ONE  Long Wear Nail polish in shade Lilac Silk, a very spring like colour I really wanted for some time now. I have also received a gorgeous new shade by I Heart Makeup nail polish Nail Geek in shade 22 Streetwise, I have received this one to test from Makeup Revolution Slovenija, as they have now a new site and you can check all the products there! And the last nail polish is from latest Catrice limited edition, Nomadic Traces LE nail lacquer in shade  C04 Trip Into The Blue with matt effect. I have already tested it, it's a really lovely summer shade and applies really fast!

I have been spoiled again! I got lucky and received this wonderfully scented EdT from Oriflame, it's called Eclat Femme Weekend and it's such a perfect light mix for spring/summer. A review will be coming up in June :) I am really in love with the scent!

From Lierac Slovenija and Phyto Slovenija I have received some lovely bits to test and try. From LIERAC Paris  I have received Phytolastil, a product that helps prevent the appearance of stretch marks. I already have strecth marks for years, there are just a few, but will see how this product helps me, looks really promising. From PHYTO Paris  I have recievd two different testers, I got Phytobaume Eclat couleur express conditioner for color-treated highlighted hair and  Phytocitrus color protect radiance mask. I haven't tested these out yet, but I am really looking forward to some expensive hair care :)

If you've been checking out my blog this month, than you already know I have spent some time at L'Occitane store. I have received a couple of testers and a new Pivoine Sublime CC cream  skin tone prefecting cream in shade clair - light, with spf 20. I have already began testing and I like it so far, I have been wearing it on it's own and also as a base for a heavier foundation and so far it really worked well for me. I hope I will manage to post a review in June, but I do have a lot of work at the moment and it will last for the next two month at least so.. I really hope I manage a full review of this product too. Until than you can still go check out my post from my visit to L'Occitane.

And the last package of lovely products I have received this month is by ANAYA Smart cosmetics. Remember them, I have already posted about them and their products, you can read the Dermasan cream review here and also there's review of their Kristall dry oil for face and body with the lovely lemony scent:) This time I will be testing Anaya Vitanaya cream for body skin renewal, Dermasan skin regenerating cream and  Lotus dry facial and body oil. I hope this two new products will be as good as I hope, I am really having some high hopes for these products. I have already started to test the Vitanaya cream and I am mostly using it on my legs right now, hope I will see some results soon. The Vitanaya cream and Lotus oil should be a perfect combo to help me fight cellulite. 

This is it, all my new products! I am really excited about some of these and I hope they will really be good to me! And also, did you notice something? Two months in a row and I haven't bought or received any lip products at all! And this from a lip products junkie?! I am really proud of myself, heheh :P

Ocena: Makeup Revolution Salvation - Iconic Pro 2 paleta senčil

Pozdravljeni! Že dolgo nisem ocenila kakšne paletke ali pa senčila za veke, tudi kar nekaj Sleek paletk čaka na oceno, vendar dajem prednost paletki Makeup Revolution Salvation z imenom Iconic Pro 2, ki sem jo prejela v test s strani Makeup Revolution Slovenija in Ličila.si.

Glede na obsedeno stanje glede Makeup Revolution paletk sem se odločila, da jo tudi jaz čimprej stestiram in da sama vidim zakaj toliko govora in pohval o njih. No sedaj, ko sem jo stestirala se dejansko sprašujem, zakaj bi sploh še kdaj kupila kakšno Sleek paletko, čeprav sem obsedena z njimi in jih imam precej (natančneje 14)... Slišala sem zelo veliko pohval glede njihovih senčil, sama sem testirala pigmente, nisem pa imela še nobene njihove paletke.. In sedaj sem tudi jaz postala zagovornica njihovih paletk, predvsem te Iconic Pro 2, ker je res odlična!

Tako kot veliko drugih izdelkov Makeup Revolution ali pa I Heart Makeup je tudi ta paletka lahko kopija oziroma "dupe", tokrat za Lorac Pro 2 paletko. 

Embalaža in cena: Najprej zagledate lično zlato škatlico z velikim tiskanim imenom, nato pa ko odprete vas čaka črna škatlica z prav tako zlatim napisom. Je nekoliko večja in širša kot na primer Sleek paletke, ravno tako vsebuje ogledalo čez celo zgornjo stran ter prozorno folijo z navedenimi imeni senčil. Priložen je tudi dvostranski aplikator, dvostranski čopič, ki je dejansko zelo uporaben. Navadno ne uporabljam priloženih aplikatorjev ampak svoje običajne čopiče, tokrat pa sem sprobala tudi priloženi čopič. Všeč mi je predvsem ta večja, širša stran za nanos senčila, ker je vsaj za moje veke ravno prav velika. Druga stran je ožja in bolj ploščata, "flat" čopič,  jaz sem ga uporabljala kot za nanos senčila kot črtala za veke.  Izdelka prejmete 16 gramov, 16 različnih odtenkov za ceno 8,95 evra.

Odtenki: V paletki imate torej 16 različnih odtenkov, zgornja vrsta so vsi odtenki mat, spodnja pa shimmer oz. svetleči. Vsak odtenek ima svoje ime, podobno kot pri Sleek, s tem da ta paletka ponuja več barv za nižjo ceno. Prevladujejo naravni, nežni odtenki, primerni za vsakdanji makeup kot tudi za posebne priložnosti.  Na voljo imate tudi nekaj temnejših odtenkov kot so One Way, New Rules, Grey Day, Sudden, Ambition in Faith.

Prva vrsta, mat odtenki:
Paper - prvi mat odtenek, nežno svetlo bež, rahlo belkast odtenek, primeren za notranje kotičke ali kot podlaga čez celo veko
Chase - svetlo rjav odtenek, topla barva primerna tako za čez celo veko kot baza ali pa za zabrisovanje prehodov, sama si rada dam samo to senčilo na veko in barvico in sem namazana v dveh minutah, sploh kadar se mi res mudi ali pa sem prespala...
Smooth - temnejši rjavi odtenek, bolj na sivkasto mi deluje, najraje ga uporabljam v pregibu veke, eden izmed najbolj uporabljenih odtenkov te paletke sploh
New-tral - dobra barva za podlago za čez celo veko, odtenek breskve, topel odtenek
One way - vijoličast, melancanast odtenek, eden izmed mojih najljubših v paletki, navadno ga nanesem v pregib veke ali pa kar čez celo veko, potrebuje morda malo več dela, da pride do polnega izraza
New rules - temno moder odtenek, se lepo zabriše in sem ga do sedaj uporabljala bolj kot podlago čez celo veko
Grey day - siv odtenek, taka klasika za v službo, čeprav potrebuje malo poživitve, najraje ga kombiniram z One way
Sudden - temno siv odtenek, čeprav morda zgleda skoraj črn, ampak ni čisto črn, najraje ga uporabljam za obrobljanje oči

Druga vrsta, svetleči odtenki:
Only - belkast, perlast odtenek, ki sem ga do sedaj uporabljala samo za notranje kotičke
Silk - odtenek šampanjca, nežen kožen odtenek, ki paše vsem očem, do sedaj sem ga večinoma uporabljala za nanos čez celo veko, kot bazo
Awaken - rahlo bronze odtenek, z rjavkasto oranžnim odsevom, uporabljam predvsem v notranjem kotičku oz notranjem delu veke
New day - temnejša verzija Awaken, pride zelo lepo kot obroba kadar uporabljam samo mat odtenke čez celo veko
Steal-er - sivkasto-taupe odtenek, hladnejši odtenek, do sedaj sem ga večinoma uporabljala v pregibu veke
Echo - svetla srebrna svetleča barva, načeloma sem jo uporabljala samo za osvetlitev notranjih kotičkov, super v kombinaciji z met odtenkom New Rules
Ambition - prelep zeleni odtenek, rahlo svetleč ampak deluje zelo naravno na vekah, sploh v kombinaciji z rjavimi mat odtenki Chase ter Smooth, lahko pa tudi kot obroba za oči, res lepa kombinacija z rjavimi očmi, še eden od najljubših odtenkov iz te paletke
Faith - temno rjav odtenek, ki se ne blešči preveč, tako da ga pogost uporabljam v pregibu veke

Pigmentiranost in nanos: Opazila sem rahle razlike v pigmentiranosti posameznih senčk, vendar je možno vsako senčilo lepo nadgraditi do polne prekrivnosti. Najbolj pigmentirane so temnejše senčke, vendar se res pri vseh odtenkih da doseči lepo intenzivnost barve, morda je s kakšnim odtenkom le potrebno malo več dela. Nanos je enostaven in brez težav, nobeno senčilo se mi ni gubalo ali packalo v pregib veke, vsa sem lahko lepo zabrisala. 

Obstojnost: Ker imam mastne veke sem vedno uporabila bazo, navadno je to bila Catrice baza za veke ali pa Urban Decay, kadar sem res rabila da izgleda super več kot 12 ur, drugače pa je izdelek super sodeloval z Catrice podlago. Obstojnost je bila drugače zelo dobra, čisto primerljiva dražjim paletkam. Nanesla sem navadno zjutraj ali v dopoldanskem času in po pol dneva, recimo nekje 8 urah še vedno nisem opazila nobenih razlik, bledenja ali nabiranja v gube. 

Kot lahko vidite na slikah, so bile svetleče shimmer senčke bolj prijazne za slikati, se odtenki lepše vidijo kot pri mat, čeprav priznam, da so me mat odtenki na splošno, vsaj v tej paletki veliko bolj navdušili.

Osebno sem zelo navdušena nad paletko, nad pigmentiranostjo ter teksturo odtenkov, večinoma so vsi taki mehki, "masleni" in se res lepo nanašajo, kakšen je morda malenkost prašen ampak ni nobenega "izpadanja". Končno razumem ves ta "hype" nad paletkami Makeup Revolution in se seveda strinjam z njim! Ne morem trditi za ostale paletke, da so tudi tako super, ampak tale je res odlična in sploh glede na ceno je res super! Še preden sem prejela v test tole paletko sem si zaželela kupiti tole Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte 32 senčil in sedaj mislim, da si jo tudi bom takoj ko bo zopet na zalogi! Čeprav imam senčil absolutno preveč, sem res navdušena nad  to paletko in sem se opogumila, da sprobam še kakšno.
