Review: L'Occitane - Sublime Beauty Cream BB Cream SPF 30 :)

Hello! Sorry for my absence last week and not posting but I am really short on time, have a lot of work for my studies, so my posts in the next two months will be a bit more irregular than usual.Today I think it's time for a short review of L'Occitane's Sublime Beauty Cream BB cream in shade 01 Clair/Light. 

The product is packaged in a sleek white bottle with a twist cap and you just simply squeeze the product out. You get 40 ml of it and once open it should be good for another 6 months. The price for it here in Slovenia is 29,50 euros.

What the product promises: Let iris and angelica extract  provide a flawless look of your complexion! Its formula combines all the benefits of moisturizing creams and liquid powder. It promises to give the complexion a fresh, unified and natural look, significantly reduce the appearance of open pores, redness and irregularities, moisturizes and smoothes the skin, ensures long-term UV protection with a protection factor 30 SPF. Beauty BB Cream contains a patented complex of two angelic plants: white iris and angelica. White iris with its gorgeous, velvety and radiant flowers as a symbol of perfect beauty and gives skin its strength purification. Angelica has amazing ability to hydrate your skin and give her vitality. The organic extracts of these two exceptional plants give the skin a wonderful feeling and a perfect look.

Shade: I have it in the lightest shade possible, but unfortunately only two shades are possible all together. I have 01 Clair/Light and I still find the shade a tiny bit too dark for me. I actually got this product from a friend and she told me that she looked orange after application so my first thought was maybe this product was already turned bad and she already bought a bad one, but than I opened a tester I had at home and it was the same, I too looked too dark and after half an hour I turned orange (especially visible at neck area). So I got used to mixing the BB cream with a liquid foundation by Oriflame which is really light and liquidy and a bit too bright for my skin and it mixes very well with the BB cream and I can make both products muc more wearable. Also, I find it more suitable for those with yellow to neutral undertones and warm skin tones.

Texture, application, scent: The scent of this product is amazing, really lovely, flowery. Kinda reminds me of their Pivoine Flora collection. I really love the texture as it's really really light, Usually creams that contain SPF are thicker and heavier, but this one is light as a feather. And contains SPF 30, UVA and UVB protection. Application is super easy and smooth, it leaves the skin slightly glowy, but not dewy, it's more like a healthy natural glow you would have while not wearing anything at all. It's very smooth, there's no patchiness or cakiness. Usually when using this I am not wearing any additinal creams under or any creams with SPF or anything like this, as I find it enough to just apply my toner or maybe MaxFactor primer and than go straight in with a mixture of L'Occitane BB cream and Oriflame foundation.

Coverage and finish: It's very light, after all this is a BB cream not a heavy foundation. To me this is not enough and I got used to wearing heavier full coverage foundations, so when I mix it with a liquid foundation it really gets a bit more medium, but never really like a full coverage. When my skin is acting more normal I tend to use this BB cream more regularly and it slightly evens out my skin tone, but nothing more. I have very big pores I like to cover a bit more and some redness is always present as I am always having acne on my neck and chin area. You could also just apply a thin layer of your favourite foundation on top of your BB cream, but you need to test the shades first and textures, so your face looks perfect, not mismacthed. I do need to apply some mattifying powder on top to get a more matte look, but with this BB cream it's quite hard to get it really matte. You will always look a bit more healthy and natural, than powdery and white. Which is a big plus. But on it's own I could not wear it as I would be way too shiny.

To sum it up: This BB cream is more like a light tint, a healthy sheen and added benefit of SPF kind of BB cream, and  of course smelling divine. For those of you who are searching for more coverage this product alone will not suffice, for those of you who are either really pale or dark - there is not enough shades availale, for those of you who have really oily skin - also problematic as you might look too shiny very fast, for those who have more pink undertones this might not suit as it's really a more yellow based BB cream, and for those who wish to have in their BB cream more skincare elements, this also might not be enough. All in all it's a lovely product, but I feel like it fits to just a couple of specific people, those with already good skin, who have normal to mixed skin type, who are warm toned and yellow-ishly undertoned, who don't have any dry patches, skin problems, irritations and like their skin care products to be scented and have some SPF. Honestly, I don't know many with such gorgeous skins, and those I do will not find a shade to match their skin colour as there are only two shades available. But, there is new CC cream by L'Occitane on the market and I hope I will be able to test it soon and see if it works better than this product.

Ocena: BABOR kozmetika - SKINOVAGEPX Advanced Biogen - Anti- aging BB cream :)

Pozdravljeni! Končno sem uspela sesti za računalnik in napisati še kaj drugega kot poročila, zapisnike ter seminarske naloge in danes predstavljam oceno Babor BB kreme za obraz. 

Pred tem izdelkom nisem testirala še nobenega drugega njihove znamke in znamke nasploh nisem niti poznala. Gre za znamko, ki je luksuzna, inovativna in prinašalka željenih rezultatov. Znamka obstaja že od leta 1956 in se je zelo uveljavila kot ena najmočnejših blagovnih znamk v svetu profesionalne kozmetike in je zastopana v več kot 60-ih državah po svetu.  Sedež podjetja se nahaja v Aachnu, podjetje Terme Maribor d.o.o. pa je ekskluzivni zastopnik BABOR kozmetike v Sloveniji.

V ponudbi imajo več različnih linij za nego kože ter tudi dekorativno kozmetiko, sama sem testirala izdelek iz linije Skinovage PX.  Tudi ta linija ima svoje podlinije. Sama sem testirala Advanced Biogen Anti-aging BB cream SPF 20.

SkinovagePX je drugače vsestranska nega, izbrane so bile aktivne sestavine rastlinskega izvora in prilagojene potrebam različnih tipov kože. Razen posebnih aktivnih sestavin za posamezne tipe kože, vsi SkinovagePX izdelki  vsebujejo dragocene matične celice rastlin iz alpskega sveta, ki kožo ščitijo pred prezgodnjim staranjem in molekularni katalizator OsmoTec, ki izboljšuje sposobnost kože, da tvori sebi lastne aktivne sestavine. pH vreadnost izdelkov je identična koži, dokazan učinkovitost, brez parabenov. 

Izdelek, ki sem ga testirala je  rahlo toniran anti-aging lepotilni balzam z zaščitnim faktorjem 20. Na voljo je v dveh različnih odtenkih, sama sem testirala svetlejšega 01 Light.

Izdelek prejmete v lični, sicer plastični steklenički z enostavnim, elegantnim napisom ter zlatim pokrovčkom in dozirnikom. Dejstvo, da ima izdelek pumpico za doziranje mi je zelo pomembno, tako zaradi lažje uporabe kot tudi zaradi higieničnosti. Embalaža je visoka in vitka, lepo izgleda tako na kopalniški polički kot je tudi praktična za shranjevanje v natrpani kopalnici :) V steklenički prejmete 50 ml izdelka, ta pa je po odprtju dober še naslednjih 12 mesecev. Cena izdelka je na spletni strani 50 evrov. 

Še o samem izdelku. Nanos je enostaven in hiter, nanašala sem kar s prsti, brez težav. Ima rahel prijeten vonj, malo rastlinski, vendar nemoteč. Tekstura je mehka, kremna, ne preveč redka ali gosta, ravno pravšnja za bb kremo. Izdelek se ne zažira v razširjene pore.

Odtenka sta na žalost na voljo samo dva, sama sem testirala svetlejšega, vendar mi je bil tudi ta na prehodu iz zime na pomlad  pretemen. Tako sem izdelek večinoma testirala, ko sem bila doma, oziroma za izhode, sem izdelek morala zmešati z svetlejšim pudrom, to pa potem malo onemogoča realno oceno. Izdelek mi bo veliko bolj prav prišel v poletnih mesecih, v kolikor bom imela kaj tena. Za primerjavo, načeloma uporabljam recimo Bourjois 51 Vanilla Clair odtenke, ta pa je kar konkretno temnejši. 

Obstojnost je zelo dobra, sama sem bb kremo še fiksirala s kompaktnim pudrom znamke Rimmel, krema se je obdržala na obrazu brez težav vsaj nekaj ur, približno 5 preden sem opazila, da je po določenih delih obraz skoraj ni več. Najbolj na udaru so bili predvsem deli, kjer se bolj hitro zmasti koža, torej okoli nosu, okoli brade ter na sredini čela. Sama imam masten do mešan tip kože tako, da sem takšen rezultat tudi pričakovala saj imam na teh delih vedno težave, tudi z tekočimi podlagami.

Izdelek po nanosu pusti rahel svetleči sloj, tako da priporočam, da ga vsaj rahlo fiksirate z matirajočim pudrom. Ne povzroča mi nobenih iritacij, drugih kožnih problemov, dodatnih aken ali podobnega. Občutek na koži po nanosu je prijeten, lahek, zračen.

Prekrivnost izdelka je lahka, zdi se mi najbolj primerna za tiste, ki imate res lepo kožo in želite le izenačitev tena. Za vse, ki želite prekriti razširjene pore ali mozolje, ta bb krema žal ne bo zadostovala. Seveda je to potrebno imeti v mislih, saj na izdelku piše, da gre za bb kremo ne tekočo podlago in srednje do polne prekrivnosti niti ni za pričakovati.

Kar se tiče obljubljenega anti-age učinka žal ne morem komentirati, saj še nimam takih gubic in težav s kožo, sem zaenkrat še malo premlada, drugače pa sem opazila, da izdelek lepo navlaži kožo, jo naredi bolj poenoteno, bolj enakomerno, rahlo zgladi kakšne jamice na koži, predvsem sem to opazila na licih, kjer imam razširjene pore.

Velik bonus predstavlja SPF 20, ki bo v prihodnjih mesecih še kako prišel prav, saj smo ravno sredi pomladnih dni, ko sonce že dosega vedno večjo moč in bi bilo prav, da ne pozabimo zaščititi svoje kože. :)

Review: Bourjois BB cream 8in1 - 21 Vanilla

Hello! As promised I took some time to review and test this product :) Now it's time to write a review :) 
I have bought this at DM store and it was on sale for 50% off, I think it's still available with discount in Slovenian DM stores. It was a bit of an impulse buy, because I really didn't need this but didn't want to miss an oppurtunity to test and try a new product.

The packaging is simple and reminds me of the BioDetox collection Bourjois had a couple of years back..I had their pressed powder and it had similar packaging, with a big mirror inside and a sponge to apply with. You can twist the upper lid with the mirror around as much as you like and it's very practical to carry in your bag especially for the touch ups and the use of the mirror :) Inside you get 6g of product and it's supposed to be good for 18 months once opened.

This is 8in1 BB cream and promises to even the complexion, create irresisitible baby-smooth skin, to perfect, smooth your skin, to be anti-shine and anti fatigue, also anti-aging with targeted correction, long lasting hydration and 20 SPF. I have mine in the lightest shade available 21 Vanilla.

What it really is? It's creamy and soft, it blends well, somewhat melts into the skin, the finish is very natural, like you have no foundation on top. It doesn't give you matte finish, but it's not too shiny either, so you will need just a little bit of mattifying setting powder on top. I usually apply it with a brush ( Real Techniques - stippling brush) as it helps me to really blend it well, I haven't tried with my fingers yet as I don't want to get it all messy and dirty too fast. I have oily to mixed skin type and this is not ideal for my type, but it still looks pretty good. I do need quite a lot of setting and correcting later with mattifying powder. The coverage is light to medium, a bit more medium on me, but I was really surprised how well it covered up my pores and I must say I didn't expect it to be as good at it, I really like it. Plus you look like you, just better, no visible lines you have your foundation  on... It doesn't cover enough to be completely spot and pore free looking, but I don't like full coverage as I don't like to look like a doll when I know my skin is everything else but perfect. What does bother me is the amount of the product, because I have been using this a couple of times a week since purchase and I feel like I have already gotten to half of the product...which is a bit fast, in comparison with any other foundation which can last you a couple of months easily..

Staying power is good, but average, at least on my oily skin. It lasts well over 5 hours on me, than I can already see where I have applied smaller amounts that it simply faded. It still looks ok, but it needs some touch ups on me. Small ones, but sometimes I really have to fix it a bit. 

I really like it because the shade fits me quite well, also like the packaging and the effect and finished look on my face. However I wish there was something I could do to prolong the wear and also that it would contain more of the product inside as it is not that cheap for a drugstore product, the regular price is about 15-16 euros I think. All in all, I must say I like it, mostly because of the way it looks on my face and well because the first impression of this was very positive and this product keeps working for me I am not as bothered by the fact it is not a very longlasting and that I need to do touch ups and use a lot of mattifying powder on top throughout the day. I got used to it and I really love how light it feels and looks on the skin. So if you don't have any major skin problems or need to conceal them, if you like lightweight products and light to medium coverage than this would be a good thing to try :) Also if you have normal to mixed skin, or even if you are a bit on the dry side this could still very well work for you even better than it did for me :)

So this is it! Wow, so many new stuff, I've been writing this post for a really long time! Do you like the new products?  My personal favorites, stuff that I would really like to try are gel tints and lip creams, stick on eyeliners seem very fun, nail art twins and a BB cream :) What about you?
