NEW IN - January 2017 :)

Hello! Yes, I am finally back with a new blog post. Some of you commented that you missed my NEW IN blog posts. I was short on time and I was sick a lot in January so I never got around to posting separately all the new products. Therefore, be reaady, this is a very long post, picture heavy and includes new products from the last three months! So I will start with November, than comes December and finally all new products from January! I have created photos for each blog post separately so you will be able to follow which month it is just by looking at the different backgrounds. :P Anyway, I hope you won't mind the long post, I really want to have everything up on my blog, so it's easier for me as well to check on the products and see what I have tested already and what not, how long ago and such. So let's get started!

NEW in October & some chat :)

Hello there! I'm finally back! I've been away from posting for way too long now, I really missed it :) Now I'm back on track, starting with this post, presenting you my newest makeup :) I have finally managed to get my own computer and photoshop and everything finally works :P I can finally write and post and make watermark and little corrections on the photos .... :D It feels good to be back :)  October was quite a long month.. and just when I thought I was being good, and not spending too much money on stuff I don't need, I realised that October was quite a lipstick month XD Just look at all my newbies!

By the way, this is my 195th post here and I'm preparing a little something for you guys, a little giveaway :) When I reach 200th post  be ready, I'm preparing  a very nice giveaway :) Keep checking up, the number two hundred will pop up pretty soon :P

Ok, so since I have so many things, I decided I'll try to start with things I got at the beginning of October :) Barry M released their first eyeshadow palettes and there are three awailable :) I fell in love with this one the moment I saw it! I simply had to have it! I love the colour choice, the packaging, the mirror inside, the size is perfect also for those on the go. It's  a winning combo and I love using this one for everyday looks :) I got this one at Ličila.si in a package together with Konad eyeshadow brush, eyebrow pencil and Uma matte lipgloss. All together was around 15 euros, which is a pretty good deal :) I also added to the shopping cart this Uma powder, because I was looking for a transparent fixing powder in a compact shape so I can take it with me at all times and the addition of Konad eyebrow pencil didn't hurt, since I didn't have any such product before. The brush is always something useful, so I was pretty satisfied with this buy :)

This Uma matte lipgloss will be a part of the upcoming giveaway, so stay tuned and maybe you'll get it ;)

I had a 30% discount in DM stores on decorative cosmetics and I really wanted another one of these quattro eyeshadows from Deborah. This is my third one so far and I've been loving all three very much! I know I have a million eyeshadows already but this I simply could not resist, look at the colours! XD

Also at the end of September I have ordered from Avon Cosmetics and I have decided on violet mascara and three lipsticks... until they arrived I have already bought some from Terra Naturi, but more about that later. Since I  got the products from a catalogue, I just hoped they would be good and I must say I am not as satisfied as I hoped to be. The mascara is too light and doesn't really do anything, the colour is not purple enough, more like light blue. The lipsticks are ok - one is very good for every day, shade Lioness, but it's also very transparent so not very visible... Coco Kiss is a great browny shade, but a bit too strong so it's hard to use it often, because it simply does not fit. The third lipstick in shade Camel  is a bit too orangey and too glittery for me, so I kinda don't like to use it.... As for the texture and the pigmentation of the lipsticks - pretty good :) Too bad the shades I chose are not my best fit.

Avon, shade Camel

Avon, shade Lioness

Avon, shade Coco Kiss

While waiting for the package to arrive  I saw in Muller stores that Terra Naturi has some new shades and I wanted to try them. I got myself one lipstick in shade 10 Light bronze and a lipgloss in shade 04 Cherry. Well honestly these two were a really bad buy.. I don't like either of them very much, the gloss is kinda ok, but fades away very quicly. The lipstick is really bad, all goes into the cracks on my lips... texture and pigmentation are really bad, I really don't recommend this.

These two lipglosses .. I admit they were just impulsive buys.. I liked them when I saw them in the store.. so I bought them. The S-he one is very lightly pinky-nude like coloured and I love the tinngly feeling when applied :) The L'Oreal one I got on 50% discount, because they are going to change the range and the new lipglosses ( more like liquid lipstick) are already available... I've got my eyes set on two shades ( one is Juliet and the other I forgot the name) from the new collection... I hope to get them, or at least one of them :)

So after being disappointed with Terra Naturi and  not so much satisfied with Avon lipsticks, I got my first MaxFactor lipstick, from Colour Elixir range and I fell in love with it in an instant! The texture, the colour, the pigmentation, the scent! I love it all :) I already got myself another shade, which I'll present to you in NEW in November post ;) I really recommend this one, if you can find a shade that fits you, go and try them :)

Also another little diamond of the month is this Coco Chanel lipstick from  Rouge Coco Shine, this summers limited edition in shade 467 Pygmalion! It looks very pink and very strong but it's actually very sheer and I love to wear it to work or just to go anywhere these days! I'm kinda into pink lippies lately and this one was perfect for me! I got it second hand but I love it anyway! :D

And my lipstick obsession does not end there! At the end of september I ordered together with my friend, also from Ličila.si and I bought this lip palette. The main reason I got it is because I wanted to play and experiment a bit :) I want to see what colour really suit me best, compare, take photos and simply have fun with it! :) I'll post a big and long story on this one and on the shades that fit me best :)

To finish up the month of my lipsticks obsession.... I got an extra 70% discount at slovenian web store Click2Chic, but since I wasn't sure what to get.. I decided to start checking up on my wishlist and I kinda decided that these two Revlon Lip butters are the best choice to get :) So now I have five all together, and I love them! Also, just by chance I stumbled upon almost empty Catrice limited edition stand, and there it was... the last lip base and I got it! :P I was thinking it might help me with all my lipsticks, they might last longer with it... I still have to try it though. :)

Also not to forget to mention - I had to buy some hair treatment products, since I ran out of the previous ones. I really love these Gliss sprays and I never had this one before, so I wanted to try it. It really makes my hair shiny and nicely looking, however, I find it a bit too greasy for me. The next day my hair doesn't look so fresh anymore and I don't know what to do about it.. I apply a really tiny amount of the product. The fluid for split ends, Gliss Kur is really a good product, does what it promises, without looking greasy and with a very pleasant scent :)

As for body care I tried to buy as little as possible, since body lotions, creams and shower gels are very well stocked ... I really couldn't resist these two though, both smell amazingly! I recommend them both, of course if your skin is not too sensitive too perfumes :)

To finish  previous month, just a quick comment on my new perfume - Queen Of Gold. As the name already suggests this one is pretty royal! I love the scent, I simply fell in love with this one and I had to have it! Since I had a bit of discount on this one I don't feel so guilty for treating myself with this one, but I try to use all my perfumes more regularly. I don't want them to get too old and smell of alcohol too soon :)

Thanks for reading!

NEW in September :)

Hello everyone! How are you? Lately I haven't been posting much, because my computer broke and for now I can not access my photos and everything I already have prepared. So, for now, I am working on a borrowed one and I have to wait for more than a week to get to my promised help and retrieve the data from my previous computer. Until than I'll try to do my best and post as much as I can. I must admit it is very irritating to work on someone else's computer, very weird and uncomfortable... also it takes me some more time than usual...

Ok back to my newbies ... September is almost at an end. Very fast month, a terrible month for every student I guess, also  I really hate September's, if you haven't guessed already :P So to cheer myself up, I got so many goodies and there are still some to come, but I will include them in next post, because they will probably arrive in the next month :P  Ok, seriously, let's get started :D

I like to write a list of newbies, so here it is:
- Sleek i-Divine eyeshadow palette in SUNSET and Vintage LE, ROMANCE palette

- Essence, Longlasting lipstick in shades 05 Dare to be nude, 06 Barely there!, (also accidentaly added my third shade here 04 On the catwalk!, but I got this one in August, but I'll write about all of them together)
- Revlon, Nail enamel, 750 Foxy
- Essence, Studio nails, Ultra nail repair
- Dior, Vernis, shade 704 Nirvana
- O.P.I. in shades Skyfall, Boris&Natasha, Over the taupe, Thanks a Windmillion

- Alverde, Anti-rotung grundierung
- Bourjois, Poudre de Riz de JAVA, Poudre illuminatrice universelle, special edition for their 150 anniversary
- Balea, Trend it up, dry shampoo
- BH Cosmetics, Travel set brushes :)

On the first photo we have stuff for eyes, so Sleek eyeshadow palettes. I finally got the last two I really wished for and also already mentioned them in my wishlist post :) So I got Sunset, which is not new but I really craved this one whole summer and the years before... and I finally got her, for a very good price at a slovenian online shop MojaDrogerija.si. Also got the second one there, Vintage Romance, the brand new one, a limited edtion, but since it just came out it's still really fresh and available ;) The colours of both are simply gorgeous! Also, another eye quad by MeMeMe, in shade Fire Eyes, I got as a gift to test and write a review from MojaDrogerija, so I hope to do this soon :) The shades are really great for fall, especially if you are not afraid of bolder shades :) The kajal is by Catrice, I got this one from their limited edition Eve in Bloom. I also liked some lip products from the other LE that arrived a bit later, Thrilling Me Softly, but it was sold out already by the time I  got to the stores... Also another eyeshadow palette here is by Ingrid cosmetics, I got this one as a gift from Bodizenska.si, another slovenian web store.

Nails .. I got many new goodies for nails! But don't be alarmed, i got them on sales or second hand, so it did not cost as much as it looks like :) I got Skyfall on sales, and the other three by second hand. Shades are Thanks a windmillion - the minty one, Over The Taupe, the browny taupy one, and Boris&Natasha, the purple one :) Also on sales I got one by Revlon, from the new fall collection, in shade Foxy :) Perfect browny for fall ;) And than another gorgeous baby by Dior Vernis, in shade 704 Nirvana :) What a perfect name for a perfect shade! I love this one, simply love love love! And than by the end of the month my nails said no more!, and I had to try an asap help, so I got myself this Essence Ultra Nail Repair. Will see if it really helps or not.. if it won't than I'll try Microcell...

On to the lips - I got some lipsticks, some glosses, some lip balms... As for lip balms, we finally got Maybelline Baby lips to Slovenia! And yes, there's a catch! We only got three different ones and for now I think they are only available in Muller stores...I got myself Peach kiss and I really love the fruity scent and the shiny finish on my lips :) Quite good so far! Also another lip product is by Figs&Rouge, a brand of natural cosmetics... well I was really obssessed with coconut scent this month and I wanted this little pot with Coco Vanilla scent really bad! And than I had some discount at DM stores for natural cosmetics and I got myself one... I expected a good care and especially a great scent... well what I got is much different and so far I am very dissapointed with it... The other lip balm I got, it's kinda lipgloss more thna a balm is by I love... and it really smells great! So far I've been loving it very much!

Onto lipglosses... I got two, one is by S-he, pinky shade with glitter. I just kinda liked the shade in the store andI think it actually kinda suits me..nothing more to say about it. The second one is by Essence Stay matt, shade Smooth berry and this is really more a liquid lipstick that turns matte than a gloss. I got both on discounts and I've been testing them now, both pretty good. I must say the Essence one really amazes me with the pigmentation! Very good job, Essence!

Lipsticks... I actually got only two, not three this month, but I included the third one too, I got that one in August, check it here :) I got shades 05  Dare to be nude and 06 Barely there! Pretty good for the price, way to go again Essence!

Also, I had a lip brush, but I really wanted one that was retractable, so I got one by ModelsOwn. I bought it online at slovenian web store Click2Chic :)

On to face ... Using the same 30% off discount in DM store I got this refreshing toner by KRASNA, a Slovenian brand, and it is really gorgeouly scented with lavander! I still have to try it out but it looks promising, also suitable for greasy type of skin. Than I was running out of my micellar solution and I heard some really good comments about the L'Oreal one so I grabbed that one too, while being at DM.. this was also on discount, I think it's still at 4,60e :) Terra Naturi is a brand by Muller and I actually found this by chance, just walking through the store... It's a make up remover but so far I'm really loving it! I was loooking for a replacement for the Balea one, that one seems not to work best with my eyes, but this one is a really gentle cream :) I think I got this when they had a week of natural cosmetics and they had a lot of the products on discounts.. I think this costed me 1,70e... regular price is something over 2e.

And more about the face... I was looking for a green corrector, cover stick or something when I saw this Alverde green tube, that is supposed to help reduce redness from the face. I hope I am using it correctly, normaly I apply it under my foundation. So far so good, I'll write more about it when I test it properly with different foundations. Also I got a cream by MUA, that is actually more like a foundation...  I have only tested it once, because I just can't stop using my Revlon Nearly Naked. So that one is still waiting for me to be properly tested :) I don't know yet if it really suits me. Also I was really happy to see that Bourjois's 150 anniversary collection came to Slovenia so fast, I really wanted to try this powder :) And it really does smell great, fantastically scented with roses. :) This little pot actually costs 12e, but you can get it on discount if you have the DM store bonuses :) This powder is actually a very gentle illuminator and it's been re-released for the anniverary since it's one of the products that helped Bourjois launch into the stars :)

Next are a mixture of different stuff, first we have a dry shampoo by Balea.. I was just looking for something reasonably priced so I got this one. I also ordered another set of BH brushes, because I really loved the ones I got last month. These are really small, and double sided - so perfect for me and my eyes :) The last one on the photo is a perfume by Shakira, Wild Elixir, that I got as a gift from my boyfriend :) I am not gonna be describing scents since I'm not good at it, but I really like it :) Very suitable for fall :)

Almost forgot to mention, I also got these two products by Kozmetika Kancilja to test as a "Chic ambasadorka"" from another slovenian web store, named Click2Chic :) I love coconut scent and I got these two at the beginning of the month to test and than write a review. One is an universal cream and the other is coconut oil in a plastic spray bottle :) I will write a full review on this in both languages, slovene and english. I think this should be also available in Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both are amazingly scented, a true win for every coconut lover :P

So here is a lot of newbies again.. a lot of reviews to be written.. I hope I get around to fixing my old computer or better, I hope my new one arrives soon, so I can get to work :P Do you have any of these products? Do they work for you? Let me know what you think about my september newbies and also, which ones would you like to read about first :)

Thanks for reading and have a great sunday :)

Beauty haul - my new stuff :)

Hey there! It's autumn already and it's time to refresh a bit my beaty and make up bags :)
In the last two or three weeks I got myself some pretty new stuff, but I wanted to post them all together in one post.

Here's a group photo of my newbies!

What we have here is from left to right: Balea Bodylotion Feigen- und Schokoladenduft limited edition, Essence Wild Craft LE nail polish 03 mystic lilac, Catrice Ultimate Nail lacquer 900 Steel My heart,  Revlon ColorBurst lipstick in 095 Crimson, Catrice Hollywood's Fabulous 40ties LE, Velvet Lip Colour, C01 Red Butler, Terra Naturi kajal eyeliner in 04 Jade Green, Essence Class of 2013 LE, eyeshadow pen in 02 School's out forever.

First off, the body lotion should come along with the shower cream, but in our DM stores I only found the body lotion and the other one that smells of almond and cherries. I prefered this smell more, it is really gorgeous! Very chocolatey, creamy, a bit of sweet scent and vanilla. I'm not sure I even know how figs should smell, so I can't really say I smell them. I like this because it is not just chocolate but also a bit of sweet, fruity smell. The texture is as always with Balea, light, white colour, absorbs quickly, doesn't leave a sticky feeling, but doesn't smell on the skin for long. I wish it did thou, I love the smell.

Second is a nail polish from a limited editon by Essence. the first time I saw it it didn't persuade me, but the next I kinda had a shopping spree and was way too much in a good mood, so I bought it. But I am actually satisfied with it. In comparison with the second nail polish by Catrice, it's more long lasting and easier to apply. I don't have any photos of how it looks on my nails thou... Love the colour, really nice purple shade, quite dark also.

The second one by Catrice is a bit more special, because it has a brushed metal effect. It looks different and also feels different on my nails. It's not as glossy and smooth as I am used to with nail polishes, but is a bit more rough, has an unique finish to it too. I took a photo of how it looks one day after applying it. With application I had problems because I needed two coats to get them look even, but after applying the second one the nail polish didn't dry as quickly and as good and it started to crease if my nails tuched my clothes or phone or anything really..  It is also not long lasting, it goes off pretty easy by itself, but a lot harder with nail polish remover.

This lipstick is by Revlon, a company very well known around the globe for their lip products. I believe everyone knows the make up world was in a huge hype for their Lip Butters and still are. This one is from their range Colorburst, it's number 095 Crimson. It's been out for a couple of years now and it has been on my wishlist for a long time. It's a really nice product, very creamy, easy to apply, quite longlasting if you ask me, I think it lasted about 4 hours with drinking, but after eating I had to reapply. It does have a bit of a smell but it doesn't bother me. The colour is amazing, really nice brick red, suitable for warm skin tones. I would suggest this product to those who want a red lipstick, but not a very strong, statement one. I will probably mostly use it as a daily lipstick. This can be worn without any lipliner.

Another lipstick I got is by Catrice. This is the first lipstick by them that I own and it is very good! This one here is from a limited edition Hollywood's Fabulous 40ties, Red Butler. It's a really great shade, the colour payoff is also very good. It's a more cool toned one, and even thou I'm warm and more yellow toned I can still pull it off. Normally I would never buy such a shade, but I just had to try it. To me it looks like more a cold colour, with a touch of violet shades, so I usually associate this kind of colours with fair skin, but it still looked good on me. Both lipsticks demand quite some work on the skin, you really need to cover up all the redness and the spots, otherwise you look red all over the face. As for texture, it is really comparable to the Revlon one. It's creamy, easy to apply, easy to blend, but it's not that longlasting. Plus the colour demands a lip liner, it's just such a shade that really stands out and needs to be  a touch more defined. It's also half the price of the Revlon one, so it's a nice alternative. I will definitely try some other shades. Longivety is not that important to me, because I would re - do my lips anyway, every hour or less, just because I'm used to it.

Here are the swatches, the upper one is Catrice Red Butler and the second one Revlon Crimson. And here's how they look on my lips in the sun :)

Revlon, Crimson

Catrice, Red Butler

Also a swatch of an eyeliner and an pencil eyeshadow. The first, upper one, is by Terra Naturi, a brand of natural cosmetics, by Müller. It's a nice shade of green, named 04 Jade Green, it goes one with abit of trouble and it stays on for about 3-4 hours, but than I needed to reapply it. I have very greasy eyelids, so 3-4 hours is actually really good for me. I used Essence eyeshadow base for mineral eyeshadows, so I think that helped too. It did not fade much, but enough for me to notice the difference and feel the need to reapply it.

Sorry the photo didn't get the reall colours, I hope I manage to get some sun and make another one.

The second product is an eyeshadow in a pencil by Essence, Class of 2013 LE,  in 02 School's out forever. It's ok for an Essence product and price, but nothing special really. It can work as a mono eyeshadow or as a highlighter, it stays put for a few hours, it did not crease. Still the colour in the store looked a lot more promising than on the natural light and I kinda regret this buy, since it really did not impress me. I'm tryng to include it in many looks but.. I just don't like it much. It's too shimmery even for me, and I love shimmery eyeshadows.

So this is it, all my newbies and more of them yet to come! I hear Alverde finally delivered their new autumn products to Slovenia, so shopping it is! XD

Hope this was useful to you and thanks for reading!

Violets, Purples, Lilac...

Hey there! Today I'll show you all of my purpl-ish, violet-ish eyeshadows :)

Here's a group photo of them :)

Here's a list of products:
- Terra Naturi cream shadow 02 Pearly Lilac
- Essence Wild Craft TE, 03 Mystic Lilac
- Alverde, mono eyeshadow 10 Dark Aubergine
-  Avon Precision glimmer in Plum
- Manhattan, multi effect mono eyeshadow ( the number is erased from the back, so I don't know which one is it)
- Catrice Absolute Eye Colour, 570 Play Up The Jam
- Lily Lolo, Mineral eye colour, Deep purple
On this one from top to bottom you can see swatches of Manhattan eyeshadow, Avon eyeshadow and last one is the creamy one by Terra Naturi. Out of these three I like mostly the Avon one. The Manhattan one is simply too bright, too vibrant for my taste, actually I really never used it in my make up, so probably this one I'll give away to someone who will find more use for it. The second one, Plum, is a nice shade, also very light. I find it hard to layer it more. It comes with such a sponge thingy at the end, so I always must apply it first, otherwise I will smudge other colours on to that. Useful more as a daily look or just to add that bit of colour, otherwise I don't use it much. The last one  is by Terra Naturi. It's nice shade, suitable for work or for a more classy silvery- lavander look, but the texture of the cream is terrible. It dries and goes into crease like in about an hour... it is impossible to layer it more.. really too bad it never looks so nice as when I test it on my hands. I tried with or without base, there's no difference. It never stays put and I can always feel it making my eyelids sticky.

These four are all awesome in their own way :) From top to bottom LilyLolo Deep purple, Play Up The Jam, Alverde Dark Aubergine and Essence Mystic Lilac. The first shade is really nice, again abit more electric and vibrant, so I prefer to mix it in with the rest of the colours. The second use is a really nice warm shade, has a nice shimmer to it and is also very good for daily make up. Alverde is a really gentle colour, I was hoping for a bit more of a colour pay off, the same goes for the Catrice one. Really light shades, and very hard to layer them more... Last one is simply amazing, a total win and I'm really happy I got it. A very dark shade, not here on the photo but in reality it's pretty strong and dark, very pigmented. A colour I would defenitely choose for going out. :)

Here are also two of my purplish - violetish kajal penicls. The first one is by Revlon, named Aubergine. It's a nice colour, warm toned, but I don't like how it is when applied. Not enough colour payoff, it sinks into nothing too soon, on the eyes it really looks like I have nothing on, not longlasting at all.. I kept it just because it looks so nice and because I'm trying to combine the colour with the rest of the make up. I really don't want to give it away.

The second one is by Alverde, Dark Violet, very strong colour, quite longlasting too. Here the performance of the product is great, but I don't like the colour half as much as the Revlon one. Really too bad, the product is really nie otherwise, but to me it has too much of bluish shades to it. here on the photo i is not as visible as with my bare eyes, probably also because of the light.

P.S. All the swatches are without any base, just on the bare skin :) Haven't found my perfect eye base yet, so I don't even won't to make shots with the one I have.

Hope this was useful to you :)
