Coconut obsession!

Hello! Are you in love with everything that has coconut included, or simply smells like coconuts? Than this post is just right for you! I have chosen a couple of coconut scented products I have been using a lot lately and that smell amazingly or simply really work as promised :)

I have picked up six products that really have a lovely coconut scent. I have a lot more coconut scented products at home but these are my top picks at the moment! Starting with hair care, I have only one product that smells like coconut and it's one of my all time favourites - Uniq One all in one hair treatment. It is not the most reasonably priced product but it's a really good one as it helps my hair and hydrates them more, nourishes them really well and adds a gentle touch of coconut scent. Once applied and dried on your hair you probably won't be able to smell much, but it's still a really good coconut scent, not too sweet or vanilla like. It's a real hair treat and I have been saving this product a lot, as it's one of the most expensive for hair care I ever had.

For body I really like this body butter for normal to dry skin by Cien and I find it suitable for my skin too. I mostly use it on my legs and it really helps me as I have drier skin on my legs. It does need a bit time to sink in, but it leaves my skin really soft and lovely scented. Again I love the scent is gentle, not too sweet and just light enough. I don't know how this would work for me for a longer period of time as I have just began using it (last month) but so far it did well on my skin.:) For hands I have had a really lovely hand cream by The Body Shop  with Coconut and I loved it! I was saving it for a long time as we don't have TBS in Slovenia and I almost never go shopping in neighbour countries. The scent of this hand cream was soo good and so special everyone around me was able to smell it after I applied it, so many times during boring classes where I didn't need to write anything down, I would apply this and girls around me would sooner or later ask "whats that scent, it smells really good"! :) Anyway, if you are a coconut scented products lover you should give this hand cream a go!

And three products for lips! It is only right I chose three different products for lips as I am a huge fan of anything to do with lips. I love... coconut&cream has a lovely coconuty scent but is a lot more sweeter than any other product mentioned in this post, as it's actually a mix of coconut and cream. It give s lovely shine to the lips and can actually act as a slightly coloured lip gloss. It's also good you can just squize it out, meaning application is easy and fast. The second lip product is by Labello and it's one of their Lip Butters. The hype for lip butters has been decreased but I believe most people still love this lovely little tin pots. I have posted a full review on the Vanilla&Macadamia one and I have also the Blueberry one and I actually like the Coconut the most! At least at the moment ;) This one is really good, gentle, light and most importantly scented with coconut! It is not as good at nourishing as let's say Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm, but it's still very decent for the price and it's one of my favourites! The last product is by SunDance Lippen Balsam SPF 30 and it's scented with coconut and vanilla and it's not tha coconuty as other products, but a bit more milky, sweet. It's really good at nourishing and also very  good at protecting it against sun as it has SPF 30. It's not sticky at all, it sinky into lips well and also doesn't give any weird white colouring to your lips (as do Labello lip balm with spf protection and also Alverde). It's a tube and you just press the product out. Really love it!

So here are my six picks for this coconut obsession post! What are yours? Any recommendations what I should try?

Thanks for reading!

NEW in July :)

Hello! It's already the end of JULY! WHAT? When did this happen? It was such a fast month, I don't even remember what I was doing most of the time... I did have some fun and went on the first part of my vacations, some swimming, some concerts.. so there were less posts, sorry guys. Even beauty bloggers sometimes need a time off. But as usual at the end of the month I am coming back with my regular monthly post showing you all the new products :)

I have been so lucky to get another collaboration and this time I will be testing and reviewing products by Adria Spa :D I feel really lucky! I have received the best summer combination of products to try out - shower gel to foam with lavander, Adria Spa  Bio Balm Coconut lip balm, Adria Spa Peeling with sugar and lemon - immortelle. Simply the best combination of my favorite summer scents - coconut, lavander and lemons! :) I have already tested the lip balm and it's very good! :)

Flash tattoos - I have ordered these online and waited for them for over 4 weeks.. usually I get them sooner, but oh well.. they are finally here and I am really loving them! I only wish they would last longer, on me they like to roll off in a matter of one day and a half. Maybe it was because of the heat and sweating and all the showering, sun screen... anyway, for the price, I am not really dissapointed. There's one sheet missing as I forgot to photograph it, but for all of these I gave less than 4 euros ( and free shipping) so it's still a win!

And now some goodies I need on daily basis. Last month I bought another deodorant by Rexona, but since I really disliked the scent I just bought another one, this time Dove Go fresh Anti-perspirant and I am loving it, been using it all the time. I also needed a new intimate gel/soap, so I had this discount at DM store and decided to try a Chilly gel for intimate care Formula fresca, as I have never had anything by them and a lot of women seem to like it. Also used up another coupon at Dm store to try out one of the latest shower gels by Kozmetika Afrodita and got myself Mystic Argan Oil shower gel. There are also the smoothie ones with vanilla, pistachio, strawberry but I will buy those next month :)

And my prize of the month! I have won this lovely prize of four products - Balea Dusch Peeling Buttermilk&Lemon, Balea Intensiv Fuss Bademilch/foot bath milk, Catrice Defining Blush 070 Pinkerbell and  Catrice Blush brush at a fellow bloggers giveaway - you can check her blog here -
Cindy Sabolčec blog - All Things Artsy. I have already posted about Catrice Defining
blushes, they are one of my favourites! You can check the post here - My blush collection :)

Next are three summer essentials for me - Garnier Ambre Solaire Ideal Bronze SPF 30, Alverde Bodyspray Orange Melisse, Inell Lait Demaquillant Douceur makeup remover. I had to buy something to keep my skin safe from the sun and thought I would try this Ideal Bronze thingy, but I must say I have not noticed any difference in the colour I have or intensity or how fast I was tanning. I will not repurchase as this simply doesn't have enough SPF, my arms were still burned even though I applied this every two hours while outside on the sun. The bodyspray by Alverde was a fresh treat as it really smells lovely and gives a hint of freshness in those really hot days. I only hope I will actually finish this one, not like the last time I bought a similar product - I simply stopped using it and than I wasn't sure anymore what to do with it, and if it's not summer, I am not really using this kind of products much. The last one is a make up remover, I have already repurchased many times. I bought a mini travel size to go with me on my holidays and as it's so small it doesn't take much space at all.

And the best treat of the month - Roberto Cavalli Acqua EdT 30 ml! I am really excited about this perfume and I am adoring it! And especially the bottle, it's so damn pretty! Really satisfied with this one - the scent, the packaging, the price and well overall everything is pretty much awesome with this one! Really in love!

Also a bunch of Balea products - sort of summer edition. I pampered myself with Balea Melone shower gel, Balea Totes Meer face mask, Sundance Lip balm spf 30 with vanilla-coconut scent, Balea Melone lip balm and Balea Lip Oil with coconut scent. I have already used up the shower gel and face mask and I would love to repurchase but I have made plans what my next buys will be. Also really love the scent of Melone as well with the lip balm, really summery, not too greasy, but also not that nourishing. The other two lip balms wih coconut scents are to die for! Really using them both a lot every day! Well, I am a die hard coconut fan! The face mask is pretty good too, been repurchased many times and I will probably buy it again very soon!

And some more summer goodies - Nivea Aqua Effect Refreshing cleansing mousse, Batiste Dry shampoo and Essence Minis2go travel with me travel kit. I have repurchased Nivea cleansing mousse as I really liked it the first time and I again had the discount so I just bought it for my stash, but it will be definitely used up very soon :P The Batiste dry shampoo is something new for me, it's new on Slovenian market but very well known in the beauty world. It's about 5 euros at Muller stores but I must say that so far I am not impressed. Maybe it was the heat and sweating and all, maybe I applied too little or too much, but this just didn't do anything for me yet. Will continue using it and will see later if it gets any better. The Essence minis are for my next holidays in about a week and were actually the only thing I bought at Essence sales. The only thing I actually liked and needed.

Just some shaving essentials - Balea 3-klingen einweg rasierer/ razors and Wilkinson Sword Extra 3 Beauty razors. I have never tried the Balea ones before but will see how they work for me. The Wilkinson one's are a constant repurchase for me, been using them for years and so far they have never dissapointed.

And some more shaving/feet care - Balea Schwefel Bimsschwamm/ sulfuric stone for removing hard skin, Epilette discs fro hair removal, Strep Crema depilatoria doppiouso / in shower hair removal cream. I had this stone for feet by Balea a couple of years ago but now seemed the appropriate time to repurchase it as my feet needed some more care. It's a decent product for the price, but nothing out of the ordinary. The Epilette discs I already had once before, like 3 or 4 years ago, and I really liked them then, but it seemed like they stopped selling them. This year I spotted them at local Muller store and had to repurchase. The Strep inshower cream is a new thing to me, before I usually bought and used Veet one. This time they didn't have it anymore at Muller so I went for the most similar product they had but I haven't tested it yet, so will see how it will work for me.

And some new Catrice treats! I was checking out the sales at Catrice and decided to get Kohl Kajal 180 Too Cool For Pool - you can probably guess why? ;) Really loving the colour of this kohl kajal, very light and summery :) For lips I bought Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balm in 010 Rose & Woody and thought it was also on sales, but it wasn't.. silly me, I could have just checked on my own blog if it was on sale or not, but why bother if it says it is than it is... until you get to the counter. Anyway, really loving the gentle shade, perfect for everyday and have been using it a lot! And the last one is a gloss - Catrice Infinite Shine Lip gloss in 110 Tangerine Tango, which was a gift alongside with the Grazia magazine. :)

From Essence Slovenia I have received this lovely surprise! It's from the upcoming limited edition and will be available in September - Urbaniced LE Blush in shade 01 The Sunny side of the street, Street style highlighter in shade 01 The Happy Direction, Street style eyeshadows in shades 01 City Girls rule!, 02 The Happy Direction, 03 For the City-kittys only! I am feeling really really grateful for the chance of collaborating with Essence and receiving such lovely products! :)

And the last lovely bit is a gift from a friend who was visiting Cambridge/London  and brought me this lovely scented soap - Fissi Firenze Fruits and Flavours red grapes pomegranate soap. I will be smelling really lovely this summer :P

And this is all, have you tested any of these products? Would you like to see a review or two from this latest bunch? :)

NEW in July :)

Hello! Another month has passed very fast! And a hot one! How is everyone holding up? Having some time off and enjoying yourself or still at work? I had a bit too much time off and now a lot of work is waiting for me :S Anyway, some of it is quite pleasant and I am very much looking forward to it! Here are my new products that I bought in July :)

- Balea Magic Summer bodylotion for selftanning, normal to dark skin
- Hawaiian Tropic Protective Dry Oil with coconut, SPF 6
- SunDance Sensitive sun balsam, SPF 30
- Balea Protective spray for hair
- Ebelin Antistatic Wooden Hairbrush
- Ebelin Make up + concealer brush
- Nubian heritage, African Black Soap
- Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr in three shades - 45, 70 and 40
- Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss in 18 Pearl Plum
- Deborah Euphoric Shine lipgloss in shade 12
- Essence, Tribal Summer LE, lipstick in shade Na Rock
- Essie nail polish in shade Smokin' Hot
- Catrice Smokey eyes set in shade 050 Love, Peas & Harmony

I needed something new for sun protection and I had DM store bonuses so I got myself SunDance sun balsam with SPF 30, which I consider high enough for my body. Years before I was always usign SunDance transparent spray also with the same SPF, but I never really used up the bottle, because I was so rarely out in the sun at all. So in one year time, till next season the spray always oxidizes and all you can smell is alcohol, and I had to throw away an almost full bottle. Anyway a product that has been open for a year never has 30 SPF, because of the chemical reactions that make it less ( I don't know how to explain correctly..). I like this one, it doesn't have any scent, it's sensitive after all,  easy to blend and doesn't leave greasy feeling on the skin. For hair I wanted to try a product against the sun and salty water and such - so I got myself this Balea Sonnensczhutz spray, but it doesn't say how much SPF does it have, if any? Anyway, it's a good balsam at least :)

Because I didn't want to be milk white I wanted to try this self tanning balsam, I've read some really good recommendations for this Magic Summer. Anyway, I only wanted to use it on legs, and if using like it says on the back I really got a tiny bit of golden colour, but looking really natural, like I got in the sun unintentionally. The Dry Oil by Hawaiian Tropic is  a great oil that smells great, especially if you love the smell of coconut! Anyway I didn't get this one with intention to protect my skin from the sun, but just as an body oil for my legs, because I tend to have a bit more dry skin there. And this really makes my skin looking soft and glowy and it feels nice too :) But it's oil afetra ll and it does feel greasy for a couple of minutes until it dries :)

I was looking for a product that is known to really help clean skin with blemishes and pimples, so I got this African Black Soap from iHerb and the results are already visible on my face! I am not sure if it is only the soap or also Bioderma Sebium AKN cream ( I have a couple of testers), but after I use this soap my face is not looking greasy for a couple of hours and this in this crazy hot weather!

I am preparing a huge post about my makeup brushes and I will include also this new one from Ebelin. I got this one because I thought it would maybe be good to apply my new Revlon Nearly Naked foundation.. it does it's job quite good, but I still know how to use my fingers better than this brush and hmm... it's gonna take some more practice :) Also newis this Ebelin Wooden brush. I borrowed a friends one a couple of days ago and I loved how my hair looked after using a wooden brush not a plastic one, so I immediately went ot get myself one too! I will not write a whole post about a brush, but I definitely recommend it to all with long straight hair, because for those it will be the most easy to use :)

For lips I have three new products :) Deborahj Euphoric Shine in shade 12 is the last shade from the range that I liked and didn't have yet. I have already posted about the other five shades I have, and this one fits in the descriptions of those, so I will not write a separate post about it :) You can check the older post here - Review&Swatches: Deborah - Euphoric Shine lipglosses . Also new is this Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss in shade Pearl Plum, this is my third shade I have and I really love these glosses. In about a week or two we will have the new range of these glosses here in Slovenia, with new round packaging instead of the square one and with a couple of new shades :) Third is from Essence LE Tribal Summer, a red lipstcik perfect for summer in shade Na Rock. It's easy to apply, very smooth feeling and unfortunately it doesn't last long, but I like the feel and the stain it leaves and the texture... Not one to be easy built up either, I had to try several times to make it more lasting. Anyway for those who love red lippie - I really recommend this one!

And for nails this month only one nail polish, my first Essie nail polish ever! I got this one second hand from a girl taht only swatched it once, didn't like it and never use it again. It's quite a tricky colour to photograph, it's not really gray, not taue, not violet-y but it is at the same time...
For eyes I got myself this great Catrice smokey eyes set, in shade 050 Love, Peas & Harmony. This one is going to be discontinued very soon, so I suggest you grab it fast, if you can. I already got it on sale for 1,99e :) I love greenish eyeshadows and I think it's a great colour to fit brown eyes in any season, spring, summer, autumn, even winter :P Also I got myself three Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr cream eyeshadows, I got shades 40 Permanent Taupe, 45 Infinite White, 70 Metallic Pomegranate. I know the hype on Slovenian and other blogs has been huge, maybe still is about these shadows - but I was always sceptical because Maybelline never offers products that work for me and cream eyeshadows just never really worked on me. Than I saw Lisa Eldridge use Permanent taupe in one of her videos, and I was immediately thinking - Ok, this must really be good or she would not use it. I checked the web for swatches and fell in love with a lot more colours than just Permanent taupe! And this actually works for my greasy eyelids too! Yeeey, happy hippo dance! Finally a gel - cream eyeshadow that works  and looks great on me! But more in detail about them in a nother post ;)

So this is all, quite a lot again.. I know!! I spend too much lately on cosmetics :P I hope I'll manage to write about these and previous stuff soon enough :) Let me know if there is a product you would like me to review first, so I can make a list when  I'll write about a certain product :)
