NEW in February :)

Hello! The last day of February... Time to show you my newbies. As you can imagine I didn't stick to no buy policy plus I got some really amazing things to test and you will get to see the reviews in the upcoming month or two. I think I might really have to go on a strict shopping diet, at least makeup wise... but there's Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Frambourjoise I wanted to buy for the last three months and some other stuff I also want to get and well.. I think I will have to make some priorities and a strict wishlist or I will again end up with such an enormous bunch of newbies. Not that I complain, I mean not really :P As you have guessed, there are many new goodies waiting to be tested and well, I will skip my usual list as there's just too many.

Let's start with some face products. Most of these are actually just awaiting their turn, as most of them haven't been opened yet. I bought this Oriflame Sweden Milk & Honey Gold cleansing milk last month, but I forgot to include it in my previous New In post. And as it's still a newbie, awaiting it's turn I thought it's ok to add it to this months list. Next is L'Oreal Paris Infalliable mattifying base, which I have only tested once or twice and it seemed ok, but now it's waiting it's turn, I need to finish up some stuff I already have. Than I have actually already done the Balea 7 days Energy treatment and honestly I can not say if I have noticed any difference at all or not, my skin feels and looks like the usual. From Kozmetika Afrodita I bought with 50% discount Clean Phase cleansing gel as I have just ran out of the Nivea one, but I will try to finish off the Nuxe one too, before opening this one. I have read many great comments about this one and I hope it will be good to my skin too. From Green Line, another slovenian brand, I bought ( also with 50% discount at DM store) a new toner, Almond refreshing tonic, as I am slowly finishing up the Kozmetika Afrodita one and I have never had any of theirs so let's hope it will be a good one. The last two items here are from L'Oreal Paris and one is it's new face oil Nutri Gold and the other Triple active anti-shine face cream. I have only tested their oil and it's good, scent is similar to the Alverde, as for a long term effect I am not sure, as I have been testing some other products this month and this one didn't get a turn.

My super package from FeelUnique! I finally had the courage to splurge a bit and bought Urban Decay All Nighter makeup setting spray and eyeshadow primer potion. I got this voucher for my B-day and it would really be a waste not to buy something with it, so basically this is my late gift for my bday from me to me. :P Plus as there was of course a money limit from where the discount is valid I needed to get over a certain number and I got also Rimmel London Stay Matte long lasting pressed powder in Transparent. Why haven't I bought this sooner, this is really amazing stuff!

Some second hand shopping, I bought L'Occitane cleansing oil 5% shea and gentle toner enriched with shea from their new range, I have the small, travel size bottles, 30 ml, just to test and see what all the hype is about :P Plus alongside I also got this perfumed body milk with  The vert & bigarde (green tea and bitter orange), 50 ml. I haven't tested the face products yet, as I was testing out some other stuff for skincare and I didn't want to change too many factors to see if a specific product really made any change or not. As for the body milk it smells amazingly fresh and free and I really like it, I am kind of sick of the heavy sweet winter scents.

Next bunch is a mix of everything I bought during the past weeks. I got Nivea Creme peeling, that was on my wishlist and also on discounts at DM store. I have almost finished my Balea body peeling so this one will get it's turn soon. Than at the beginning of the month I got my hands on Essence Hidden Stories nail polish in shade 03 Mauve-llous Fairy. Nice light shade, but many were dissapointed as it was not very pigmented and needed more layers and even than wasn't as dark as in the bottle. I liked it anyway, maybe even more because I find it more gentle and subtle, therefore more suitable for every day use. Also bought a new concealer, not that I needed it, but I ran out of my beloved Bourjois Happy lights and I wanted something creamy, but cheaper. I got Catrice Camouflage cream in shade 010 Ivory and I am going throught the tiny little pot really fast. Plus a free tester of Melvita  Huile d'Argan repairing argan oil in a tiny cute bottle, 5 ml.

I couldn't stay away from Avon :P I got a new hair care product Advance Techniques Supreme Oils duo treatment spray for all hair types. I am almost done with my Gliss Kur Schwartkopf spray and I can't wait to start using this one. Plus I bought Ultra Colour Indulgance lipstick in shade Honey flower and with it I got some testers of shades Tea Rose, Creamy Melon and Pure Peony. Plus I bought Planet spa Sleep Serenity pillow mist. An interesting product, not my usual choice, but this seemed like something I would want to try. I have been on a hunt for a DM baby product, similar to this one that smelled like lavander and was also ment as a pillow mist, so well how could I resist? This product is scented with camomile and lavander. I have also received two perfume testers, Little Black Dress EdP and Fergie EdP.

Oh my lips! I had to.. I really did. There was no way I could not buy these gorgeous gems. :P I have ordered, with a bit of help from Nuša - Moonchild, my first ever Etude House lippie Color Lips-fit in shade #OR202 Wanna Fit Orange. Pretty and strong liquid lipstick that you don't even need much to get a strong statement lips, really loving this one! Than second hand, but new, another Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss in shade 205 Snow Pink. A classic, everday shade, just to carry with me in my purse and use whenever I need a touch of a little something to pick me up. Two new Deborah lip glosses in shades 02 and 10 Strawberry Kiss. One of my favourite lip glosses and well they wre 1+1 so why not... Than my third Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in shade Nude-ist, a classy shade suitable for everday as well as special occasions and I'm in love... I want also to get shade Frambourjoise, it's a bit more spring like than the others I have. And another L'Occitane product, this time it's Cherry blossom lip balm, pretty good, but not much over the average lip balm.

I won a giveaway! I got really lucky, again, and I have won this lovely prize at Parokeets last month. I got this lovely eyeshadow paletteby Deborah Secrets of the smokey eye in shade 01 Nude Rose. Plus a new nail polish Gel effect in shade 06 and a lip lacquer in shade 2, a lovely nude colour, Kajal pencil in shade 104. Bonus were two new fragrance testers, Just Cavalli - Just and Marc Jacobs - Daisy. It doesn't happen often that I get to win something but when it does I really get the stuff I like :P

Moving on to stuff I received to test and review. From Dvorec Trebnik, another slovenian brand, I received a mix of testers. and a lot of them. I can actually make a bit of a review since I mostly got at least three or more testers of a certain product. I got testers of Lavander body milk, Lavander shampoo for normal hair, hand cream gel Sea-buckthorn, shampoo for dry hair Sea-buckthorn. shower gel Marigold,  Marigold ointment, Argan ointment and a whole bottle of Jumpy Coconut shower gel.

From Melvita Slovenija I received  Apicosma Soothing cream sensitive skin moisturizer, so far so good, but a more detailed review will probably be sometime in March. This will be a part of their new range and it's not on sale yet, as I was told, this will be released 5th March.

From Babor Slovenija I received a new Skinovage advanced biogen anti-aging BB cream  with SPF 20 in shade 01 Light. I liked it so far, but I've just started testing it and we will yet see how well this actually works for me. I have also received a tester of their new face cream that will be released in March, it's their  ReVersive anti-aging cream. As I wasn't the one choosing the products I will be receiving I couldn't tell them I am a bit too young to use anti-age products, but I will give them a try anyway.

From Bocassy Slovenija I have received their  Serum and a tester of  their Light day cream. So far I liked the serum, the cream I have not tested yet. The serum is suitable for all skin types and it's supposed to be a firming and hydrating product with olive oil, vitamins A, E, d-panthenol and comfrey root extract. Hope this will work well for me :)

From Makeup Revolution Slovenija and Ličila.si I have received some more goodies to test. I got the new Lip Lava liquid lipstick in shade Firestorm, perfect red shade and Iconic Pro 2 eyeshadow palette I find absolutely gorgeous! So far I am really liking the palette as it's got really lovely shades and offers matte as well as shimmer eyeshadows.

From Anaya Pametna kozmetika I have received two very good products. I have been already testing  their Dermasan face cream and Kristall face oil, both seem to work with my skin  really well and as I have been already testing these two for some time, the review is also almost done and will be posted soon.

I also have a bit of new jewelry, a lovely set of black and silver, made from steel and onyx ( from Zlatarna Aura), I have received this as a gift from my parents for my graduation and also these lovely spring flowers. :)

And this last greeny is from my boyfriend, well for no reason, just because... ;)

All my primers :)

Hello again! Time to say a little something about my primers... Usually I just have one and use it up, but lately I had a chance to try some more so I currently have four which I am using regularly, every day. I will try to describe as best a sI can how they work for me, or not.

Starting with one by Etude House, it's called Goodbye Pore Ever. It comes in a tube, as you can see, you get 20 ml of product inside. I don't know where to buy it because I got it second hand. The texture of this one is a bit waxy, a bit too much like applying honey, if you ask me. It does spread nicely thou, but it feels like it has something inside that makes it feel like wax. I don't like that feeling, but the effect is pretty decent. It covers up the pores, doesn't sink in them and offers a more straight surface for your foundation. As for helping your foundation last longer, I can not really say. I haven't noticed that it would do any good on this subject and also haven't noticed it would do any bad either. It has a gentle scent, but nothing too disturbing. Overall this is an ok product for me, works well with different foundations.

Next one is by Balea, it's called Teint Perfektion. It's basically a cheaper version of Garnier 5sec Perfect Blur. These two are pretty much alike, in texture, in effect, in colour and smell. The Balea one is still available at DM stores, now on 50% discount. I got the Garnier one from a friend to try and I must say the Garnier one is also pretty good. Both have a kinda dry consistency, they spread out easily and make your skin feel super soft, super smooth and like you would have a baby powder on your face, ( I mean that in a good way:)). They do help prolong the life of your foundation for a bit, especially you notice that when you work all day. They both work well with different foundations, even bb creams. Normally I use just my toner, straight to primer and than the chosen foundation, so for me it works. But if your skin is really greasy and oily and you also like to use another cream under before applying your foundation I am not sure how well will this hold for you, before melting it all away. I must admit to having some problems during summer now, because it is so hot and I get sweaty really fast I feel no primer could ever help me, no matter what. All in all, these two I use the most and for now I seem to like them best and they work best for me.

The last one to join the bunch is one by MaxFactor, it's called FaceFinity All Day primer and promises to extend the wear of your foundation. Also has spf 20 and the packaging is really pretty. You get 30 ml in a glass bottle with a twist applicator which enables you to close the product completely. The texture of the product is a little bit more liquid, but not too much, still like a foundation. Feels very light on the skin.  On me it sets more on my skin and makes a nice finish, my skin looks like I used mattifying powder, and the Etude House one makes like a surface on top of your actual skin to help your skin look more even. I am not sure about the regular price of the product, I got it second hand. I must say it provides the best base for your foundation. I was testing this product for a couple of days now and am really impressed and really like it. It is actually quite a lot better than my Garnier or Balea base, also when your foundation is applied it looks more matte on your skin even before applying your mattifying powder. So far so good, I have tested it with Bourjois 123 Foundation, will see how it works with other foundations :)

Have you tried any of these? Which one works for you?

I was trying to be good and not spend too much on cosmetics, still one month can be  a long enough time to buy soo many goodies. Still, this month was more summer like, sunscreen, aloe vera, shower gels and such.. not much decorative items, but still, more than I actually need. And what a success, only one lip product XD

Summer time products! First we have three shower gels, sort of. The one by Fa I got on discount at DM store... didn't really need it or anything, just wanted to use up my bonuses and this one had the nicest scent.. sweet, melony, summery :) Next to it is one by Oriflame, and as the picture on the bottle suggests, it smells of pineapple.. so this is for all pineapple lovers out there. Shower gel by itself is nothing special, probably won't repurchase again, but it was worth the try :) The last is actually latest in Nivea's in-shower  collection and it's supposed to help calm down your skin after being exposed to sun. So perfect for seaside and pools. I was saving this for seaside time... but as it will not happen, I will just use it in my own bathroom.. This is quite more expensive than the other in-showers, almost 6 euros. As I haven't tried it yet, I can not say what it's like.. Next to it we have Aloe Vera gel. This is my second bottle of it and I must say this is a very versatile product you can use almost anywhere.. face masks, skin care, after burns, after  sunburn, if you have dry skin or irritated skin. I really love this, I first bought it last year and still have a bit of my previous product, but I must say this is really worth all the money. Regular price is about 10 euros, but sometimes you can get 50% discount at DM store.. if you do, I really recommend you use it. Last is a product by Garnier. Not much to say, I needed a sunscreen so I bought this one because I just had a 50% off discount, so why not..  this is actually the only sun screen product for me this summer. I am not going anywhere hot plus it is raining all the time.. I just needed a little something for a couple of days when we went  on a festival, but even there it was rainy and cloudy, so not much need for sunscreen.

A combo of hair care and skin care. I have ordered Uniq One Coconut last month and waited about 10 days for it to arrive. I must say it is a pretty good product, an overall product that takes a really good care of your hair. Unfortunately you get only 150 ml for about 18 euros (feelunique.com) and I am already half way through the bottle... so I will have to start saving it.. otherwise I think it is possible to use up this bottle in about a month or so... plus I have really long hair and I spray it all over so it goes up fast. It has a very gentle coconut scent and so it makes it perfect summer product. Thous once dry even I have hard times detecting the coconut scent, so... if you are looking for a product that will give you a very strong perfume.. this is not it.
Next to it is a face wash by Alverde, from their collection for greasy and unclear skin. I have had this collection a couple of years back so this is kinda  a repurchase for me. I like it, but at the same time it's nothing special. I can not say if it really helps with acne and pimples and all, but it is gentle and can be used every day. I was actually looking for a replacement for my Aok face wash but wanted something good and cheaper than that one.. so this is quite a good alternative.

Face time! I got a surprise this week, by Oriflame :) They sent me Giordani Gold CC cream to test for free :) I have only applied it once so far and I must say it's pretty decent so far, light, easy to blend, smells nice... The shade fits me well, thou there are only 2 shades  available. I have the one called Light. Hmm.. for more I will have to test it more ;) Than, also just arrived today, we have a foundation by Bourjois called Flower Perfection. I have it in second lightest shade, called 52 Vanilla. Haven't tried yet so I can not say anything .. bought it second hand for a really silly price so I am really lookign forward to it and hope it will be as good as the 123 foundation is. I am actually thinking on posting a comparison post, with all my Bourjois foundations.. I should be getting Healthy Mix one very soon.. Last on the photo is a pore refiner actually, a base for under your foundation to help you cover your pores. It's by Etude House and it's called Goodbye Pore Ever.  I have tried it like 2 times so far.. good but maybe too much like a silicone feel...  must try it with different foundations to see how it will react :)

And favourite part - decorative items :) Starting with Giordani Gold Iconic Liquid Lipstick, I bought this one from the first catalog it was represented in, because the price was lower, about 5 euros. I loved the shade Raspeberry blush the best and thinking of purchasing Fuchsia too... I love the liquid texture, applies like a lip gloss, but has so much more pigmentation and wears off nicely.. thou the only problem I have with this one is the first application. I need  some time to make the shade even all over my lips. But this one is really a lovely summery shade, quite a strong one too :) Next are two mascaras. I got Bourjois Volume 1 seconde one second hand and I must say it's pretty decent but not that good.. as always with their mascaras, I have never liked them much.. Maybe I just need to wait for it to stop being so wet..? The second mascara is by Deborah, the new one called 5in1 Extraoridnary mascara. It's quite heavy on the lashes but gives good definition. Still also very wet and need to wipe away a lot of the product... Last on the photo is a nail polish by Ciate.. Lisa Eldridge always wears a shade by them.. so I had to get one and try what the deal was about them.. well honestly, nothing special, or at least not for me. A beautiful shade of red but nothing more.. glossy finish but starts cracking off just the same as any other brand. Lucky for me I bought this one second hand for about 5 euros, normally these are more expensive and they are not available in Slovenia.

Last item for decorative cosmetics is another palette by Sleek... this is my 11th now.. so I am quite a collector of Sleek eye shadow palettes. This one is called Glory. I bought it second hand, brand new, for a silly price of 5 euros... normally they cost around 12 at slovenian  online shops... So I call this a really good deal. It consists of 12 shades,  first row for daily use and second for party time :) Just the right mix of everything. The pigmentation is as good as always, at least the shades I have already tried. Now I see they have a new palette called Arabian Nights.. so my wishlist is not over yet :P

My last purchase previous week was this after shave gel by Balea.. just wanted to try if maybe this will work better for me, especially for bikini area, but well.. it is nothing special and I still get my skin irritated and red and need a week to heal so.. Basically a waste of money if you ask me. It costs about 2,50 euros, so at least I didn't spend much. Next to is a mini version of dry shampoo by Essence. I wanted to buy the one by Balea, because I already know it plus it's cheaper, but this was the only mini I could find. This costs almost 4 euros and doesn't really do much. It smells nice, but the hair don't look much better thou. So another item I am not satisfied with and probably will never repurchase.

Have you tried any of these products?
