Hello guys! Finally a review of the product that got me super excited this year! It's been out and about capturing hearts of many users and I am not gonna even bother with trying to ask you to wait and see how it fared with me - I love it! So let's break it down why   Lancôme Juicy Shaker convinced me and what I love about it!

Winter time: Essence Winter? Wonderful! LE :)

Hello! This year Essence prepared the perfect winter makeup collection! I love collections that are not just Christmas/holidays related with golds and reds, but more winter related, products that are more versatile for every makeup user, not just makeup junkies like beauty bloggers! The limited edition I will b talking about today is called Winter? Wonderful! and I have three products to present from it - a hand cream, a blush and an oil lip tint!

Let's talk about handream first! The name of this one is 01 You Melt my Heart. I was lucky to catch the last one on an almost raided limited edition stand at my local Muller store. The price for this one was 2,19 euros, which is the usual Essence price. I really love the design of this hand cream, the packaging is sooo beautiful! The little snowflakes on the packaging make all the difference, otherwise I might not buy this one at all. The packaging is otherwise a clasic plastic tube that contains 100 ml of product and once open lasts for another 12 months. The moisturizing hand balm melts in to your hands for an immediate feeling of comfort. The innovative formula contains milk protein and cotton extract and will leave your cuticles and skin smoothed. I really love the scent as well! The texture is very light and sinks into the skin really fast! 

The second product I will be talking about is the blush - 01 Winter Kissed Cheeks!  It comes in a classic transparent case, the usual packaging for their blushes and contains 4,5 grams. The design of the blush goes with the rest of the limited edition - the amazing snowflake design and the colour choise is pretty amazing, looks so lovely! The three colour combined look so natural, though the pink shae is dominant. The combination includes the big pink snowflake, the smaller peach snowflakes and the background is in a light beige/browny shade with golden shine to it. It does contain very small shimmer but it's not visible on my face, it looks more like a matte blush on me. I like that the pigmentation is good, but not too strong, as I can layer some more if I want but at the same time don't go overboard with my first application. If I apply it very gently, it looks so natural like I have nothing on, but I can easily build it up. If I apply it just one thin layer it looks more like my cheeks are a bit pink from the outside cold! Looks very natural and very flattering! The price for this one is 3,29 euros.

And the last product is tint&oil for lips in shade 01 If Kisses Were Snowflakes... It comes in a silvery, sleek packaging taht contains 6,5 ml of product and is good for another 12 months once open. This packaging doesn't have any snowflakes on it, unfortunately, no extra decor. It looks like a lip gloss and also has a small doe foot applicator. The scent of this is very sweet, but I am noticing a lot of lip products by Essence have sweet scents. The texture of this lip oil is actually quite thick and covers my lips very well. It protects them well against cold outside and creates a shiny barrier between them and cold air. It is actually nourishing, like lip balms, actually helps me keep my lips smooth and in good condition. This gives me a very light pink stain, but applied multiplue times in lets say three hours will give my lips a very strong pink look. Otherwise this really gives just a hint of colour, which stays on my lips and gives them a gentle stain. What I like the most is the non sticky and lightweight formula! The price for this one is 3,29 euros.

Preview: Catrice - Rough Luxury LE

First impressions: ALVERDE Oriental Bazaar LE :)

Hello! Have you already spotted this limited edition at your local DM stores? I have treated myself with three products from Alverde Orinetal Bazaar LE and decided to post a bit about them, just some first impressions. I will not be making full and very long review of the trio, as is usual for me. Oriental Bazaar limited edition was very interesting to me after seeing the promo photos and I was really excited to try something out. I admit I have not bought an Alverde makeup product for a long time as I feel like they are not as good as they were a couple of years ago and also I have so much makeup that is simply better. Still, the design of this limited edition was really pretty so I had to at least try something.

First product I have picked was a lipstick, there are three shades available - a browny lipstick, that seemed to dark for me, an orange red one and this deeper red shade 30 Safran-rouge. The second product my eyes seemed to be attracted to was this lip oil in a gloss packaging and I really wanted to try this out and see if this really works on the lips, helps my cracked and dry lips. Third product is a Loose powder in a very interesting packaging, shade 10 Desert dream.

This powder attracted me mostly because of the packaging, as I really don't need a new powder. There are two shades available one seemed too browny, more like a bronzer and this one seems too pink, more like  a highlighter. Most interesting to me was the packaging - on top you have a brush and a closing system to keep the  brush safe and under it like a system to transfer the powder to the brush and you can also remove the lower part containing the powder if you want, but be careful as you can spill it out. The brush is very small but very soft. The shade seems light on me, I actually use it more like a highlighter as it's so light and a bit pearly. I don't use this all over my face, just areas I want to add a touch of a different powder, similar like Bourjois Java de Riz powder.

Lipstick in shade Safran-rouge is a warm, a bit on a browny side, red lipstick.  The texture feels a bit dry, at least on my lips and I need to make at least four sweeps to get the shade just right. The finish is semi-matte, so there's some shine, but  doesn't last long. On the lips the lipstick feels more moisturizing and creamy, but application seems like there is something wrong with the texture as I feel like it's dragging on my lips and I need to put in some extra work to make the shade even and opaque.  The shade however is perfect for fall!

Lip oil is packaged like a lip gloss, it's got a clear liquid, very runny texture. It smells a bit sweet, more like a tea. That should be expected as its base is chai tea extract and argan oil. The applicator is actually quite big and rotating, which I don't like, I would prefer it more if it were a classic applicator. To me this feels too watery and not enough like an oil, still because of the texture it doesn't feel heavy, sticky or greasy on the lips. It gives them a slight shine. Personally I find that this just doesn't want to sink into the lips and it doesn't nourish them enough for me to be satisfied with the product. Too bad, I had higher hopes for this.

So here are my first impressions! I must say none of these products really got me like "wow, I love it", still I will find use for these three. The lipstick seems to remain my favourite! I hope this post was helpful to you! :)

Currently loving - Balea Lip Oil with Coconut scent :)

Hello! Another product I am currently in love with and have been since the minute I bought it is another lip balm, only it's actually an lip oil by Balea! So todays short review will present to you Balea Lippen Ol Roll On mit Cocos-Duft/ Lip oil roll - on with coconit scent!

Packaging, price - Plastic tube  in a creamy milky colour, where you squeeze out the product with a roll on aplplicator and golden cap. The roll-on applicator is one of the things I really dislike about this product, as it's really sturdy and scratches my lips, it's really uncomfortable to apply with ti. Usually I just squeeze some more product out until it's thickly covered over the roll - on and than apply it. It contains 10 ml of the product, the price is about 2 euros. 

Ingredients - TRIISOSTEAROYL POLYGLYCERYL-3 DIMER DILINOLEATE, DIISOSTEARYL DIMER DILINOLEATE, PARFUM • MENTHYL LACTATE, TOCOPHEROL

What it promises - this lip oil promises to make your lips smooth, give them a silky sensation and relieve dry lips, making them noursihed and soft. Also adds a subtle sheen to your lips. Also the product is vegan!

Why I love this lip oil - Well, the scent of course! The summery coconuty scent is simply one of the aspects of this product that I am really adoring and I believe other coconut lovers will too!

As mentioned earlier the roll - on mechanism is not the best, also it's quite hard to move the roll because of the oily texture. Still if you carry the lip oil in your pockets and make it warmer than it might pour out faster and spill if they would have used a different applicator. The cap has the rotation lock, so there's no chance of accidentaly opening it in your purse. 

The oil itself is transparent and well, smells like coconut! It does have a slight taste to it, but it's nothing too strong, just a bit of sweetness. The scent of the product is also not too sweet but more like a scent of a genuine coconut. The scent also lingers for a longer period of time and does not evaporate after a certain period of time wearing the product.

The texture is not that oily as the name would suggest. It's rather thick and therefore needs some patience when applying it. It gives your lips a clear shine but doesn't make them look oily, like you just ate something greasy. It feels smooth and creamy on the lips, not like an oil at all.  You could use it under your lipsticks or lip glosses, but personally I don't find it a good base under lipsticks, maybe just under glosses as it tends to make the other products look more sheer. The product still does the job well and is nourishing, at least to my lips,  Also important - it's a non-sticky formula which I really like and once it sets it just gives a hint of a clear gloss on your lips but looks very natural. For those of you with really sensitive lips, this product may not be the best choice as it's scented and the formula might not suit you best as the product tends to stay on the lips rather than sink in completely. 

Personally I am a huge fan of coconut scented products and I really love this oil too! It's nourishing but not as much as let's say NUXE Reve de miel lip balm, it's protective but light, non-sticky and gives a bit of shine to the lips. The bonuses are also the low price, easy availability (every DM store should have it), lovely packaging (aside from roll - on applicator) and good lip care. If you like coconut scented products or just want your summer to last longer with a little help of a beauty product than this should be a lovely treat for you!
