Empties - January 2018 - Part 2

Hello again! Yeah, so I've used up a lot of products and you can expect even more Empties kind of posts. I decided to keep them shorter, about 10 products or such with short reviews. What I liked and what I disliked, which ones go on my repurchase list. Here's a bunch of random beauty products! Check out which ones made the cut to be listed on repurchase! ;)

Weleda Wildrose shower cream was a purchase i made a long time ago and while cleaning out my shower gels stash I found this one again. I had to give it a try and I ended up liking it and using it all up. the texture is creamy but without the usually oily or greasy kind of feel many other shower creams have. The scent of roses is light and non artificial, but also doesn't last long on the skin. I had zero irritations on the skin after use I felt no dryness. Nice natural product, I might return to it!

Le Couvent Des Minimes Eau Des Minimes Botanical cologne of the minims* everyday deodorant waited to be tested for a long time! I liked the packaging of this deodorant as I prefer glass bottles to plastic packaging. It had just slightly runny texture, but as it's a roll on, I was able to apply it without issues. I loved the scent of this, very gentle, fresh and noninvasive. I was able to use it even right after shaving and it never irritated my skin. It didn't perform as well as my usual Borotalco deodorant, but it was a good choice for days when I was less physically active.

NIVEA Hairmilk Care conditioner for normal hair structure, dry and damaged hair has been with me for a couple of months and it delivered an additional care along with the shampoo and balm from the same collection. Similar in scent it has a very light texture that sinks into hair without trouble. It left my hair soft and shiny as well as slightly scented. I used it right after rinsing my hair and topped it with a product for hair ends. I've had similar products like this one, for example the Gliss hair spray, but I can honestly say I liked this one  a lot more. perfect for anyone with long hair that tend to lose it's shine and softness. Also worked well on bleached and dyed hair, giving them that extra hydration. Repurchase will definitely happen.

Another hair care item I have used up is Oriflame's Eleo Dry Oil*  with non- greasy texture. I enjoyed this product a lot! It had a nice scent to it and it was relatively light on the hair. Of course there were moments when I was spraying too much on and that ended up looking greasy and would never really dry, but otherwise, if i payed more attention how much I applied, it helped my hair ends. I mostly used it for hair ends as they are dry and tend to split. Nice scent as well, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing. I prefer the hair mask and the other hair oil from Eleo collection, the one in the plastic bottle.

Schwarzkopf Schauma Nature Moments provence herbs & lavender volume & fullness shampoo got me with the lavender and I immediately wanted to try it out. A big bottle that was also affordable, offered me a shampoo that worked well with my usually oily scalp and hair. It also helped me get a bit more volume, but since I have long hair that's not as visible as I would like. Overall ok shampoo, but I think I'll skip repurchasing it.

I bought Batiste dry shampoo coconut & exotic tropical because I was running out on my usual Batiste dry shampoo and this one seemed like something I might like. I usually enjoy coconut scent but with this one I really didn't smell the coconut as much. It did have that tropical kind of scent, but it also left a lot of white on my hair and it needed more work to really get it into the roots and working. It was ok, but in the future I will stick with the usual dry shampoo for brunettes.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Glow mask I bought when they first came out in Slovenia and later I got one in a giveaway. I actually think it's pretty similar to the face wash gel, but with a creamier texture. It includes three different clays and red algae as well. It's not the usual mask as it has smaller bits in it that serve as sort of peeling as well. I liked it a lot, it helped me with keeping my skin more even and healthy looking. I will definitely repurchase.

I haven't tried many Lancome products so far and when i do get to try them out I sometimes forget they need to be used up as well. I had a tiny tiny bit of Lancome Energie de Vie the Smoothing & Glow boosting liquid care* left in the bottle, but I finally decided to let it go. I posted a full review here. It had a nice light texture and I think it's a perfect summer skin care product. I probably won't repurchase, but I'll definitely try some other skincare by Lancome whenever I get a chance.

At first I thought Essence 2in1 powder&make-up long lasting powder in 10 ivory beige was a missed purchase because it made my face look way too white and bland, but then I somehow managed to use it up. It was an ok mattifying powder to set my makeup with but not that good that i would wish to buy it again. If I applied a bit too much I already looked way too dusty and unnatural. The mattifying effect wasn't as good as I hoped it would be, just an hour or maybe two before I got all shiny again. I'll skip this if it's even still available.

One of the best concealers I have used up in the past year is definitely Bourjois Radiance Reveal concealer  01 Ivory. I liked the light texture and the shade fit me well. It's not very high covering, but the purpose is more to conceal the under eye area and give it a bit of light back, so it looks natural on the skin and healthy, not caked up at all. Repurchase is a must!

Hope this post was helpful to you! have you tried any of these? Did you like them?

Thanks for reading!

Love, UniqaPoly
