Preview: Essence - Mountain Calling LE

It’s time to hit the slopes! We’re heading to the mountains in December 2014 with the new essence trend edition“mountain calling”. Let’s go skiing, cross-country skiing or hiking! The colour scheme with white, blue, red and dark green shades provides a winter feeling as well as a cool look. Preview: Catrice - Geometrix LE

 Hello! I already posted a sneak peak vidoe for this collection and finally I can also present all the products that will come in this collection :)

As already stated, this one will be available from April to May 2013 :)

Geometrix Eyeshadow palette: The palette offers 6 powder eyeshadows with a high pigmentation in an elaborate case a la Mondrian. Anything you like? I will definitely go check the eyeshadow palette because it simply attracts me so much, that touch of blue and yellow makes it something I don't quite have yet. Also the kabuki brush looks very promising and I hope the packaging in strong and will survive travelling in my bag, because than this brush will be prefect and I most definitely will buy it. Also translucent powder might be a really nice buy, especially if you don't have it yet or you are unsatisfied with the ones at home. Oh and matt lip creams, what gorgeous shades! I will probably take tham  both, because I can never say  NO to a true red lippie or orangy red lippie because they fit me and there's never enough to have just one shade of red in your makeup stash XD
Also, I'm interested in how these blush papers work, but I will probably not buy them, since I really don't use blush a lot, more highlighter than anything. Mascara looks promising because it has longer and shorter bristles and it's shaped quite well, so you can reach every eyelash. Still I prefer rubber brushes, with these ordinary bristles  I always get too much mascara on and than my eyelashes tend to clump together etc..Nail polishes are fun, very summer like, anyway to me these colours are not appealing, I prefer darker shades and this looks kinda a bit too neon to me.
All in all this looks like a really great limited edition, it has some really great products in it that are suitable for as many looks as you like, so very versatile products. I hope I get my hands on the full stand when it comes out, some of these are definitely coming with me!

Preview - Essence, "Class of 2013" Trend Edition

We just got the previous two trend editions by Essence, Cherry Blossom Girl and Wild Craft,(reviews coming up soon :) ) and here is already a new one, named Class of 2013 :) I find Essence a bit weird regarding their trend editions. Sometimes we have to wait and wait for a month or two to get anything, now three in a row in about a month? Perhaps I shouldn't be too happy about it, you never know how long will it take to get them to send us this one.

This one offers the following products: eyeshadow pen, lip tint, translucent powder, blush, nail polish, top coat, hair ties and cosmetic bag. :) This edition should be out in October and it's inspired by going back to college.

Eyeshadow pen - Available in01 want to be my freshman?, 02 school's out forever and 03 blues of being cool :) It can be used as an eyeshadow and a liner :) Nice combination of colours, I like most the first two :)

Lip tint - Classic red and pale pink lip tint, Available in 01 alpha gamma better and 02 ready for rush week?

Translucent powder -  Silky texture of transparent powder is suitable for all skin types and gives matte complexio. Available in 01 sheer leader :)

Blush -  Available in 01 alpha gamma better.

Nail polish -  Cool blue, warm gray, intense burgundy and pale pink are real eye-catchers.  Available in 01 blues of being cool, 02's out forever school, 03 ready for rush week? and 04 alpha gamma better.

Top coat -  The top coat can be applied to any nail polish and thanks sparkling glitter pigments give each nail design a cool, metallic finish. Available in 01 college hero. 

Hair ties and cosmetic bag -  

Nice trend edition if you haven't tried anything like this colours or products before, but otherwise nothing special. The eyeshadows are nice but I already have this kind of colours. Even the lip tint doesn't get my attention, because I suspect it will be like those products they have in constant offer, not enough colour, texture so-so... perhaps the most interesting part is cosmetic bag, perhaps if it's big enough I will take it :)
