Review: Eucerin - AQUAporin Active

Hello! Skincare has been my priority in the last couple of months and I tried to use up quite a lot of products. One of them was Eucerin AQUAporin Active facial cream for normal to mixed skin type. I have tried and tested this one last year actually, but it never got to be on my blog. Since it was one of the best hydrating facial creams I have tried so far I thought it would be appropriate to give it a full blog post and a more detailed review!

This product has been around for over a  two years now and I saw so many people commenting that it's really great. The collection includes three skincare products, but I have only tried this one. It helps preserve and raise hydration in your skin through cell activation. Aquaporines are sort of key cell parts that help maintaining and regulating water input between cells and the outside.

The cream was specifically designed for those with really dry and thirsty skin. I have tested and tried it and it worked well on me, it worked even better for my boyfriend. He really loved the fact that it's not greasy and still delivers enough hydration.

I would say the cream is suitable for almost any skin type, especially for the dry and normal ones, but even me with greasy skin, was able to get the benefits of the product. I think even people with sensitive skin could benefit from this one as it really feels light and not too fragranced at all.

The texture is just right. Creamy but not too heavy and too greasy. I find the texture more like a yogurt like and I feel like when applied this had a sort of a cooling effect on me, though it's not like a cooling product at all. Maybe just because it was so well packed with hydrating elements.

I was testing this in colder winter months and my boyfriend tried this in the spring months. We both agree that the texture is light enough, though on me it was best to use this as a part of my night time routine. Back than I felt like it was too greasy to apply under my makeup, though that is mostly die to the fact I have super greasy and acne prone skin and this one really was not designed for my skin type. However, I have noticed visible difference in my skin. I tested this for about a month and a half and it showed on my skin - it looked softer, more supple, the fine lines caused by dehydration were smoother. I also felt like my face felt more relaxed, no tightening sensation. Similar experience was with my boyfriend who claimed this is amazing cream and that I should get him another one.

What really got me to like this cream was the final effect it had on my skin. It really felt softer and more hydrated. I also liked the texture and the way the cream sank into my skin without leaving a super fat and greasy residue on top.

Have you tried anything from the collection? Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks for reading!

Love, UniqaPoly
